What wheel stand is the best to use with a Logitech G27?
After some research I found the Wheel Stand Pro and CSL Wheel Stand...
Are on of these two good or are there other ones that are better?

i use a chair... but im sure there are people on here who know more than i do, so take my advice with a grain of salt.

I have bought the older model of Wheelstandpro for the DFGT and so did a friend, who switched later to a G27. In his case the stand works pretty well, but with an addition of weight in the frontal hollow tube it should be better. Otherwise it is a perfectly good stand for your wheel. However, I have a slight complaint about the central vertical bar, which impedes feet movement, especially in the case you use your right foot on the brake or even worse you drive using the clutch. The same of course happens also in the case of the CSL wheelstand.

If I were in your place I would consider this although the prize is almost triple and it would take a lot of thinking to proceed to a buying decision. IMO it is a bit overpriced, maybe because of lack of competition?

Or you could just go to your local hardware store, buy a couple 2x4's and build your own custom one that you can bolt the racing wheel to.

I've added some mods to my Wheelstand Pro Deluxe. First to make it heavier and more stable. Second to raise the pedals in relation to my seat height. Since the office chair I use only goes so low, without the mods, felt like I was in a commercial truck. It was very tiresome to my ankles and leg muscles when having to feather pedal inputs. A buddy of mine, Owensracing, manufactured the mods. The difference in pedal height is only about 5 inches but the change was profound when driving. I've never noticed the center post to get in the way of either left or right foot braking.

So, no matter which you buy, or how you mod it, I would recommend you get those pedals positioned so your legs are as stretched out as is comfortable.
