I was going to ask the same thing, i haven't had nearly as many 10,000 credits as before. Obviously it could be coincidence but it was enough i picked up on it.
Ive won a car and a few part upgrades where as before, id get the lowest cash prize 4 times out of 7. The last 2 weeks, ive probably had the lowest prize 2 out of 7.
Ive never pressed a button on the roulette.

Now this is a debate I have had before on this forum. As for trying to control the wheel maybe not. I have tried pushing on the one I want and never got it so, maybe it's time I tried your one of pushing on the one I want least.

I have found that I get better tickets if I earn the ticket in Sport races. I've also been told that I was full of it. That it is based on your collection status. Regardless, I seem to get better prizes the day after GTWS races or if I run at least both DR/SR races. I know this, in GT5(?) your daily log in bonus was directly linked to the number of days you logged in to the game in a row. With 5 being the max and if you missed a day it reset to 1. If, PD is somehow using a similar system in the background to reward those that interact with their follow man via number of days in a row you run the Sport races for your daily mileage, well....you be the judge.

It's just you: the ticket reward is preset.

You can easily see this yourself by shutting the game down after you receive the prize but before you leave the gifts screen. That will restore the ticket, which you can then redraw for... the exact same prize.

The only time this is not necessarily the case is after a content update - because the tickets work by looking up a number on a table and the content updates change the tables - wherein a ticket can return a different reward after the update than before. However my experience is that the reward will always be the same type (money, car, part, engine, invite) and money will always be the same value - but I still need more data on that second point to be sure of it.

So I just had a 4* ticket give me 500k the day after doing all the Manufacturers Cup Races.
Yesterday's 4* was 10k. The two days prior I had only done in game or one daily sport race.

For reference purposes.

I assume you're suggesting a correlation between type of activity and value of prize within the ticket?

There isn't one.

The reward is pre-determined on the server side when the ticket is generated, it’s encoded in the ticket object itself (well, the pointer to a specific entry in the sever-side rewards table is encoded in the ticket) The wheel spin is just cosmetic. Pushing buttons does literally nothing.

The only time a ticket’s reward can be altered is if Polyphony modifies their rewards table between the ticket being issued and it being redeemed.

The spin animation is just for show.
