Just curious to hear, what was everyone awarded for their Birthday on Gran Turismo Sport? (and do you actually use it?)

I was gifted the Toyota FT-1 VGT, because I think it's a group x car, I don't use it, but I do use the Gr.3 equivalent.

(Wasn't sure if this topic has already been brought up, checked the last 10 pages of the forum and didn't find anything)

Got the Atenza Gr.3 last monday as a bday gift, but I already had that.
Put another livery on it then tho

Would‘ve liked the game to give me a car of my birth year like it was in GT6

You mean like....if you're born in 1990, it should give you a car from 1990?

I didn't know about birthday cars. Wow, this game just keeps on giving...even if it feels like you're getting the same pack of novelty socks from your aunt on multiple occasions.

Mines on 23rd December, so yeah was a nice surprise!

I had the Huracan LP610-4 2015 on my main account , can’t remember if it was a duplicate or not. On my other 2 accounts I’ve had a maclaren and Ferrari can’t remember what models.

I didn't pay attention to what it was, thought it was the daily car. It must have been the Alpine VGT 2017 when looking back sorted by date acquired. It's all useless since I have all the cars already.

I did drive that one in VR before. It's kind of buggy in that you can't move / turn your head very much in that car. The glass canopy boundaries are too strict and the view gets blacked out.

That was an epic feature I loved so much. The GT Sport doesn't have a big enough variety of cars to do that, though :D
Yeah they want GTS to be less about collecting cars, and more about player against player racing.

I got 919 hybrid i havent used it because i already have one
my fave GR.1 car. I don't like using the VGT cars, they just don't look real and sound silly. The Nissan Gr1 understeers like crazy and the Peugeot Gr.1 is geared for slower acceleration which doesn't work for most tracks. Would work on Le Mans with long straights.

So does the game get this information from your PSN account or do you have to input the DOB in your GT Sport profile?
