I only tried the Genki HKS S15 and haven't tried the Blitz yet but i'm sure the ER34 is a great car. As for the S15 I too found it difficult to drift at first and it sure did understeer a bit aswell. However after mucking around with its suspension settings, I found my ideal drift set up and now it drifts like mad! The car works best when driven on Trial Mountain and I can even manged to weight shift it now with ease.

The Sti can be a pretty good drift car as well but the topic in here is Uras ER34 vs HKS S15 lolz. Well my vote goes to the S15, but I will give the Skyline a try aswell.

Yea, the understeer in the HKS is awful also i did a few TwEaKs and managed to sort it out.
Tryed putting a wing on the back Don?

I dont think you can add a spoiler to this type of car.

Actually, I'm sure of it. :dopey:

Nah, haven't bothered with a new wing.

It some getting use to, but I like the Silvia because It's much easier to end the drift, the Silvia is fairly controlable, while the ER34 just "snaps" randomly.

I haven't touched anything, other than changing the tyres to N3 and turning off the AIDS. Understreer isn't really a problem, you have to "use to power" to get it drifting.

I might write up a little comparison of the "D1" cars in the game.

I prefer the Silvia, since the skyline is naturally snappy, and I like red, so ya, HKS vote for me. I also like the tails on the silvia alot, better than stock

The ER34 Slide Perfectly and drives pretty good, Great Car. The silvia is just a little too stiff, but I had a couple good drifts with the HKS, But it's just not as good. You Really have too tune the Silvia to slide it and it has a krazy understeer. You'll Be drifting and then it will start to slow,
and either will stop or run into the wall!

My Favorite Car: 1995 Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 V-Spec ll

Didn't like the handling of the HKS Silvia, but I defo would pick the Skyline over it. The way I have it set up it doesn't spin out, its great at inertia drift.

i love both cars , seeing as how they are both d1gp cars and ment for drifting, i use them all the time for online drifting, just all aids off and some n1 tyres and they are great drifters, anyone who has trouble drifting them should work on the gas control, if you keep your revs at a constant angle you can have some sweet angle without snapping out:crazy: , but maybe thats just me:) i would say practise guys and you will get it right
drift on !!:) :)

I think it's not you, I think it's your tyres, dude get of N1's lol they're really no appropriate for 400BHP. I use N3's for the D1GP cars, fit much better:P;)

Ok we all have to focus on the topic, I guess I'll finaly admit and say HKS S15, prefer fr layout.
Blitz R34 is FR! lol

Personally, I like the S15 for balls-out drifting, where I like the R34 for line racing where I need to kick the rear out just a tad.

this one is really personal preferance. both have drifted fine for me. the only thing i dont understand is why the s15 has a 5sp, considering they were 6spd cars. i like the blitz skyline cuz it has a little more show on a night track(or one where you run w/ the lights on) and the additional gear is nice for some of the longer straights. i guess i would vote for the blitz. a friend and i were playin split screen on sarthe II.(i think it was that, the one with the chicanes)i was driving the blitz and he piloted the hks. we were using the chicane sections as mini drift tracks, going through the barriers and around the corner back through the barriers. i could slide around the larger corner and actually use the throttle to slow myself down(while downshifting) and come back into the barriers. it was a very enjoyable experiance barely using the brakes and my friend was really impressed. so sorry NOB, Monkey man takes this round.

I voted for the ER34, the Silvia although fun to drift when you get the hang of it seems a little too twitchy to me during the drifts, while the ER34 is mroe stable to in the drifts. It must be the longer wheelbase of the skyline vs shorter wheelbase of the silvia that keeps the skyline more stable.

lol yeah, i tried the HKS and it is extremely hard to find a comfortable setting for me. And yes indeed it is really stiff as if it was meant for grip racing. Thanks for the input though i realy appreciate it. :sly:

STIFF??? i didnt find the hks silvia stiff at all and all i did is take off the aids and race it like that no mods except soft tires i think it drifts like a beauty and it only maxes at 150 hp lol i can do big hairpins on el capitan trial mountain etc with ease in this car. but then again im just a noob :dunce:

sup? i know i'm a newby but i think the HKS S15 is the best drift car. i learned to drift in the blitz ER34 but found the S15 to be a lot more stable, controlled and reliable in a drift.
could be the skyline's lack of rear down force.
all depends on personal preference and set up.
S15 gets my vote every time!

Its stable in the game but in real life, its not so stable. Orido "Monkichi" Manabu in 1 of the Touge "MAX" (The Fugi Cover) said that most S15 aren't so stable because of its rear. When Orido comment about the Kei Office S15 "Blue Model" he said that they tuned the rear very well. (Don't know if it's right cause i mostly forgot the rest). So in real life the S15 need to be well tuned in the suspensions)

Instead the Blitz Uras ER34 is most stable in real life that what Abe-Chan (Nomura "Nomuken" head mech/spotter) said.

i like both cars ive seen both in REAL DRIFT competitions, i have both, they r great drift cars but yes the s-15 is more stable in the corners but i like to drive the blitz cuz it takes skill and it shows me that i still got it.

Definitely the HKS S15! I just love drifting those machines stock. They are ready built drift machines so no modifcations needed.
I'm sure the Blitz R34 is great too but I just have a little more trouble creating angels as wide as with the S15.
I should look into tuning it, but I still haven't completely grasped the concept of tuning LSD and the such.

Anyway, STOCK HKS no aids on N3!! Lov this car!

If your a real man drift 800hp. With low power you have so much time to think. With high power and more tire everything happens so fast the slightest mistake snowballs out of control. I'm not sayin low power isn't difficult. I'm just sayin that real men don't drive K cars, ha ha.
With high power, drivers can break traction easier and keep a drift longer. When it comes to underpowered cars, you have to learn to shift weight and shifting rather than relying on power to get you to slide. Underpowered cars are harder to drift because you have little HP to work with.

As much as I love Skylines and the Blitz ER34, I prefer the HKS Silvia. The Blitz ER34 just doesn't drift for me.

yeah. using the same techniques to drift a cappuccino that you use to drift some 800hp car just wouldnt work

I dislike the way the HKS Silvia both drifts and handles. It's not that fast, either. On the other hand, I love the Blitz ER34. Drives like a dream, you don't need much speed or handling before it goes sideways. And, unlike the HKS Silvia, it's pretty hard to spin around with it. The ER34 sets into the corner at the drift, and stays there. Very good high powered drifter! 👍

Oh, yeah, and it's crazy, in a good way. Goes fast up in the high RPMS, it just loves being driven hard! Totally love this car!

So (bar one person) everyone's overlooked the Mazda BP Falken RX7? That's a D1GP car, and it's really awesome. But anyway, i prefer the S15 for general drifting from corner to corner etc. but the Blitz i find insane doing one massively angled drift, i just don't like the way it seems a bit sketchy so i can't link multiple drifts as well as i can with the HKS.

But seriously, those of you who haven't driven the Mazda, find it and drift it, it's awesome.
