LOL!

The whole cockpit seems good and takes very little space compared to other ones. I worry about the wheel and good force feedback.. as well It does not seem to be VIOLENT enough like it is on FORCE DYNAMICS which seems really spot on.. But HEY I bet its way cheaper.

A good so it´s official now. I looked yesterday. It´s cheap compared to the 401 but expensive compared to the simconmotion :). I think as someone say this would be better for flight simulation where you don´t have as swift movements and are actually leaning quite a bit while taking turns. Seriously their separate simulator that turns all the way upside down would be fantastic for flight sims :)

I don't really post much on here but rather just read what people post, but I do want to share this with you sim racers out there. Yesterday I went to the Barrett Jackson car auction here in Scottsdale, Arizona and saw a booth with a racing motion simulator called blue tiger. They were promoting their product and i had a chance to hop in and try it out. The game they had on display was IRacing. Man, what a ****ing experience (excuse my language but I don't know how else to describe the feeling). Just one lap around the course felt like i was driving a real car. My adrenaline started to kick when i got on the gas on a long straight away. The best part about it is the turns, especially during high speeds when you get that jerking type movement where it seems like its about to wipe out but it doesn't and a lot of that is captured in the motion. I've never felt this way while playing a racing sim, such an experience is hard to describe. After i was done I asked the rep if their company supported console games like gran turismo, his answer was "no since consoles arent like PC's and do not have real racing simulators". He even went as far as saying that gran turismo is not really a simulator in its self. I kind of understood where the rep was coming from, he described that this motion simulator is designed to be customizable and there is no way it can survive on a console where as the PC games and motion program are fully customizable. Anyhow, I am really thinking about buying the bare bone version of this product which is around 7 g's but man what an experience. So what do you guys think?

I dream about getting a motion sim. But as long as they don't get an out for consoles i won't buy one. Not gonna spend 7 g's (not so expensive, thought it would be more than 15g's). As i read on some forums, dbox might be working to be console compatible. ' Cause saying consoles are "****" and don't have sim's than this guy is an stupid ******. I never gonna spend such much money on a device that's compatible with only one device and supports only 5 year old games... With rfactor2 coming out it changes,... but still.
Imagine this could serve more applications than just sim games. Fps with motion sim.
If one company gets one out that is compatible with gt5, which should be possible, cause of the tt at the gamescon, i will happily buy the base of it.
Wanna se who many games a such device support, go to constructors site (about 10 games, where 7 are older than 3 years) Com'on

Yeah I totally understand and agree that they should support gt5 since it looks a lot better than any of the PC games and it would actually be better for the company in regards to sells. The setup you see in the picture is 15 G's but if you know how to built a computer than you can get away with just buying the bare bone version which cost around 7. I don't care too much about PC racing Sims but man it sure was fun playing it with that machine. I wish there was a PC version of grand turismo since a lot more can be done on a PC vs. a console.

edit: That's very fancy but I would never pay $7000 for it, regardless of whether or not I were rich. $15000 actually seems fairly comical and absurdly selfish.

Fairly comical and absurdly selfish? I think people spend good amount of money on different types of hobbies. Selfish, no not at all.

If you have the money why not? These are not free to build if you are going for the real deal and there is a limited market.

I have no idea if this is the real deal though and I don´t have the money anyway. My nixim cockpit is just to good and I am not really a simracer anymore just casual racer :)

I agree, people seem to not realize that full motion cockpits are not cheap and that buying one for under $5,000 is darn near impossible due to limmited market, build costs, and shipping weight of the cockpit which alone will be a couple hundred.

Prime example is one reason why Frex ships out their Sim con unit separately to help keep the cost down.

Excellent post and I agree wholeheartely. No PS3 or Xbox support, no buy. Hell, this rig doesn't even support some essential PC games for christ's sake: Trackmania, Outrun2006 Coast 2 Coast, Daytona USA, Sega Rally Championship, F-Zero GX, GRID, Shift, the list goes on. Won't touch it with a 10ft pole until those games, as well as PS3 games are supported.

damnnn five grand?? for that? why not put that into your real car and some track time instead?

It looks like it moves way too much, ive never been in a car and been looking at the sky! the motion from braking/accelerating/shifting/turning is minimal why is it at a 45 degree angle?

It's attempting to simulate G forces on your body, and as for track time, there isn't a track that I know of within 200 miles of me. If I had 5,000$ to blow, it would be on some kind of setup like that, and a dedicated sound system.

i used a similar thing to that... With initial D in the arcades... the movement is too much to be honest, i really didnt feel any "G's" at all just felt sick afterwards. Any movement simulator should only simulate a cars movement, that looks better suited for a flight simulator.

+1, no +100000000.

Its easy to justify spending 7 g's on a motion sim like that since its the cheapest one on the market that's based on a pivot point motion.

I'm not sure about that. I believe that the SimconMotion is also based on a pivot point and it's cheaper and more realistic than the BlueTiger.

Whoah.....time out pilgrim! It looks like I may have to eat my words on a few of those titles.

BT has now added full support for GRID, Dirt, Dirt 2, and NFS Shift! OK NOW we're getting somewhere! If they support Codies' new F1 game as well as Trackmania 2 coming out at the end of this year, then I will *seriously* consider buying one, assuming no gimmicks at 34CC get ran.
