BMW 3-Series Compact (E36/5) 323ti 1997

Quality lightweight rear wheel drive sports car, very popular in the EU as an entry level motorsport base due to it's reasonable price, sporty BMW chassis, powerful straight 6 engine, RWD configuration, manual 5 speed gearbox and light weight.

Was in Gran Turismo 2, didn't make the jump to 3.

Would be a victory for all of the veteran Gran Turismo gamers who care more about an authentic entry level motorsport experience than strapping a high rpm turbo onto the latest hypercar.
