The BMW 7-Series E38 is a luxury sedan built by BMW from 1994-2001. The model being suggested is the most powerful model, the 330HP 750i-iL, powered by a 5.4 V12. In 1998 the 750i-iL recieved a revised V12 engine (as well as a facelift), now used exclusively in the BMW 7-Series and the Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph. The car also featured in 007 Tomorrow Never Dies. Over 20,000 750i-iL's were made from 1995-2001, with just under 6,000 of them being the 1998-2001 spec.

Engine: M73TUB54 5.4 V12

It's very definitely just 750i, or 750il

Two different cars. Both used the M73B54TU, I think the 007 car was pre-LCI and therefore would not have been the TU engine.
.

You've misinterpreted. That table refers to the engine as being in both the 750i (Europe only) and the 750iL (worldwide).

The "L" suffix means "Long wheelbase" (or "Limousine")
Thanks for clarifying. Will edit the thread title
