BMW Car Club - Gauging InterestDraft

Hi folks,

I've been a BMW fan for years and years. I think I was first awestruck in 2000/2001 when I saw the M3 GTR race in the American Le Mans series at Sears Point in CA - really amazing cars with an amazing sound!

I finally have a BMW - albeit a daily driver. I was thinking, the BMW CCA has track days and club racing, why not have a virtual BMW Car Club?

I was thinking of a mix of met-ups, track days, and perhaps BMW spec series/club races (if there is interest).

At this point, I'm just trying to gauge interest. Let me know what you think.

BTW, I did to a search to see if there was already a BMW Club in GTPlanet, and I could not find one, but if I missed it, please let me know

Hey guys, Im a technician at BMW dealer in Maine and am aww struck at the opportunity i have to get to know these fine machines. Have also been a beemer fan my whole life, was always in love with the attitude of every BMW is built like a race car. couldnt be more true, even the savs will blow away most "sports cars" in acceleration and handling. to be working on these now, someone pinch me! Of course love to drive them on gt5 and 6 =)

Hey, Ill join.

When I was around 1 or 2 years old, my parents had a 2003 or 2004 BMW 3 series Wagon. I don't remember it, of course. Then in last month or so, I rode in a 335i Convertible, in the passenger seat! THAT WAS EPIC! In GT6, I drive a 135i with black wheels. I thing any more tuning would be a crime against humanity. BMW's should stay stock.. unless its an M or Dinan. In my opinion, BMW's have passion and awesomeness, Audi has awesomeness, and Merc... don't get me started! I don't like Merc's, sorry Benz fans, but I don't. Just the passions is what makes a BMW stand out from the rest.

So, when dates release, and more info is out, Ill defiantly join!

Yeah, i like this idea. the BMW's are some of my favorite cars in GT6, M5 08, Z4M Coupe, M3 07, M3 04, Z4 GT3, M3 GT2... i like the idea of a more relaxed track-day event also where we can pick a class/pp range and just turn a few laps.
