I know. I was simply saying off hand that the 240 only weighs 3100 pounds in automatic form, and the one in GT4 should weigh even less than that because it isn't an automatic.

A bit off-topic but has anyone who's played GT1 noticed the cars in this game shift as tho they're automatic? In other words, there's no lag from one gear to the next like when you shift with a clutch...it sounds as if there's a automatic in all the cars from the first game.

I think there's some serious lag with some cars. Well, maybe PD is just simulating the average driver's weak left foot/slow gear change.

yeah, i think they are trying to simulate this. Some older cars have long-throw gearboxes, and in others (like a Fiat 22 or Subaru 360) you'd certainly stall if you immediately let the clutch in.
