Hi,

I have tried to find an answer to this and I am now stumped. I hope some one here can help me...

I noticed this today (photo). How do I fix this please? Sometimes the settings "stick" and sometimes they do not. Trying to control a car with these margins is pretty much impossible!

Fanatec Clubsport DD+
Fanatec Clubsport RS wheel.
Fanatec CSL V2 pedals.
PS5.
Gran Turismo 7

Best regards.

Ian.

Just finish the calibration prozess? Fully pressing the pedals should give a result. upper deadzone looks like you did not pressed the pedals the full way down. reset to default change things? same instant gas/brake in other games?

Minimum inputs are set manually, just choose the value you want.
Maximum inputs : press the ONE pedal you want to set at the maximum you want, and click ok while not touching any other pedal, that should do the trick. Then rinse and repeat for every pedal.

Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to reply. All to no avail I am afraid.

Setting each pedal. I press to the maximum and then press "OK". I don't touch anything else. Once each value is set, I press "OK" and exit the screen. Whenever I return to the settings page it looks the same as the photo above.

Still frustrated and annoyed here.

Best regards.

Ian.

Have you tried resetting to default in game then doing it via a PC/laptop?

Hi,

No! I haven’t. I will now though! 😁

Cheers.

EDIT: Set to default and used the laptop to set the brakes and throttle. No change....

That said, it does sometimes work and sometimes not. Also - Every now and then the sound goes all screwy! I get intermittent engine noise cut out and then it goes altogether. Quitting out of that part of the game, going else where and returning to the place where it started to cut out, cures the problem???

How it worked for me. Set auto mode on pedals control panel. Connect to PS5. Press and hold each pedal at max for 2-3 secs to set those on the base

Next go into pedal calibration in GT7 and set min max dead as per @manou

Then exit out. Don’t go back to the calibration adjustment screen. Only go to the top cal screen that shows the pedal responses and see if the pedals behave - they should show the full range corresponding to the input on the pedals

To see if it sticks, exit the game turn off the base. Start the base, hold pedals for 2 secs to cal them, start gt and check the top level cal screen to see response. If all is still good do not go back to the cal setup level as the range is set

You can stay w auto cal and just do the 2 sec thing every time you start or if you want you should now be able to go to the manual cal section in the control panel, set the range. Then check the top cal screen in GT7, should still be good

Auto or manual in Fanatec control sets range sent to game. In GT7 the cal setup maps that range to game response

My theory anyway - could be just dumb luck so let me know otherwise
