Bram Turismo's Gallery - Tournament Round 1 before/after -

welll when i do angled wheel blurs, i select the wheel with the polygonal lasso, than i take the whell, and rotate it so it is straight, up and down. (like hold a pencil up to your monitor, vertically and match it up straight) then, drag it out left or right, untill it makes as perfect of a circle as possible, then just look to where the center of the wheel is, and adjust your radial blur accordingly. Then just re-transform it back into place....hope this works for you man, if you dont understand something, p.m. me. anyways, i liked these shots other than that wheel blur problem, nice job!

Thanks alot for the help Dead_Petic, I'll try it today!

Thanks alot for all of the other comments as well guys 👍

And the banner's up, rather then linking to each image, I'm experimenting now with designs like Alex, Charger and LGF are doing though I suck compared to their works  It isn't gonna be the final banner though 👍

Awesome work mate,, I love the reflections and the lighting.. That is superb:) The wheel blur is a bit off I guess,, Not too much:) Awesome work:D

Nice nice... this kind of blurred W&B shot are starting to be part of a personal style lately. I like them Bram, they're amazing

Nice Skyline shots Bram. I think I like the second best, but the first is still amazing. Great work with the blur and reflections. They both look very crisp and great in B&W. 👍

Check out my update if you have the time, would love to hear your comments and suggestions. :)

Thanks, I will 👍

This is my first ever icon I made myself:

I would like some comments on this one, as it will affect my updates in the future.

Actually, there is no blur at all, it's just the outer glow having a bad finish

Really, I still think it works well though. There is som much you can do in Photoshop. You have got some skills when it come to PS Bram. 👍

Also, thanks for the comment. Really apprecaite it. :)

No problemo compadre 👍

D_P, I first make a selection, give it a colour, mess around with the blending options. Then I put in a custom shape from PS, also mess around withg those blending options. And the glossy looks is that I make a new layer, take a selection from the original image you want to have so glossy, fill it with white and lower the opacity 👍

I just need to find out to have the background transparent and get the outer glow sharper ;)

You should go back to photomode shots, because that’s where your true work comes from.

Had to read though to get the dirt...
At first I though it was someone new that had skills:)

I dig those NSX shot alot!

I think its a good looking icon, verry good for your first time 👍
But if you want the gloss effect to stand out more you should darken the background color a lil bit. but the rest its looking good.

Does that icon represent something, or did you just come up with it on your own? It's nice and clean looking and has a nice resolution, but I am trying to relate that to your user name and it just does'nt seem to mean anything. I guess if you want your own icon that's great. But I hope you don't leave it that big and put it on all of your shots.

No I won't

I'm just experimenting with it on how to make it and to learn the blending options better, I'll probably use these methods to post up my pictures or something, but putting up such a design as you, LGF or Alex is curretnly completly impossible for me :D

But thanks for all the feedback 👍

Nice pics, Floyd. And yes, I'm still calling you Floyd, unless you wish otherwise. I don't take change very well, so I'd like to see your P icon as your avatar in the future, just to keep some of your old persona.

Oh, and the pictures are great as always. I like that "sparkle" trick on your NSX a few pages back. If you see the pic as a whole the dots look good, like highlights, as they're supposed to. But if you only pay attention to the spot itself, which is inevitable, the thing looks awkward. It can look like it's totally not supposed to be there. But usually it looks good. Just be careful with their placement, and maybe make them smaller and sharper, and only enhance spots that were already there. Besides that, good work.

No thanks, no rally cars, I've already done that car before. Nevermind then, I'll search my magic box for something I guess...
