Bram Turismo's Gallery - Tournament Round 1 before/after -

i wanna pick up another ps2 actually. been thinking about that lately, since my ps3's out of commission right now. i only use it to browse the net and play demos. great call on that.
i just hope they're still selling memory cards for that thing. look forward to the new updates. oh and, merry christmas by the way.

So I put in the GT4 disc... "Choose your language" ...save file gone, all 80 golds, all 98% completement, all endurances, all......my.......Toyotas :nervous:

One just has to laugh with all this though

I'm truly sorry to hear that, man. A friend of mine once deleted a small save of GT2, and I was really mad. I share your pain.

That was exactly the image I was looking after!

I've played half an hour now and I've gotten through National B and A, golding some of them, and National A were all golds and silvers. Everything on first tries. Here's to hoping I can collect some stuff before the tournament gets underway 👍

That's a real bummer dude. That happened to me way back on GT1. I was pretty ticked, but I found I was able to win stuff back a lot quicker the next time around!

And hey, stop by my gallery, I have a new post! 👍

Hey there fellas!

First of all, thanks for the donation J 👍 And thanks Nic for stopping by, it's great to see an old-school'er still paying a visit to my gallery once in a while 👍

Yesterday I finished all licenses but the super license, taking silver and gold on all of them so I have a nice set of cars now to start cups and events with. I also did 20 driving missions during this week, and if I can finish them I should win some nice LM cars to start racing with.

Anyway, I bought myself a cheap Nissan yesterday. I'm surprised I've not yet taken a photo of it since I'm a huge import fan and this car is a popular one amongst the import crowd. Looks like I'm really, awfully rusty. Tones, levels, sharpness, contrast, detail, it's all a mess. I definitly need more practice if I'm going to stand any chance against the likes of you lot! I just need to figure out whether the photo saving mode is already set to super-fine quality, but I've forgotten where to set it as I can't seem to find it in the options menu. Anyway, enough talk:

Great shot! Doesn't look rusty at all. BTW, when I click on full size it comes up with "404". It also happened with some of 440 Chargers pictures.

Ah, you might be a little rusty but you'll catch up enough to be a threat to the best of us :P

It's a nice shot but I'm not feeling the tones, it looks a little too purplish. I understand that Laguna Seca looks extremely boring and bland with more natural tones. The image is a bit noisy as well, but it was a nice touch leaving the background unblurred.

SVX is correct, the fullsize is 404'd. I look forward to competing getting crushed by you in the 2.0 tournament :D

the full view no workie! it's a nice edit btw. i really like the contrast and the tones.
maybe crop a little from the bottom so the car's not so in the middle of the frame. good job though!

Taken many photos the last few days, none of which turned out ok. I guess this one came out best of the heap :indiff:

I love the sky and the wide look in the Subaru shot, though the car is a little too centered in frame. But still, very cool shot.

The RX-7 is pretty good as well. Still not in par with the old Bram and those blurs I always had and will have has reference when I do motion/zoom blured shots (link link link link )

But, it's quite nice to see you active once again. 👍

Yeah, the Cien and Motegi RX-7 had some strong tones. It's what I'm searching at the moment. Some times I want to go with deep tones, yet other times I want to go for more natural colours like in the Clio shot. But I never seem to hit what I was aiming at. Oh well. I think the Clio shot is probably the only shot I'm fully happy with of everything I have ever done. The rest is so so, but everytime I see the Clio I go "Damn, I did pretty good"

I think the shots look great and I'm just really glad to see you back taking shots! Wish I could be doing the same. Keep up the great work bro!

The tones go with the mood. It doesn't really bothers me.
I was comparing the motion blur (on the road mainly). It seems different now. I liked those sharp and strong blurs, like you did in those shots. It's something I always try to do when I zoom/motion blur one shot, but can never seem to accomplish it. It was just like a Bram Turismo Trendmark.
In comparison, the zoom blur in this shot seems a bit soft, like you forgot to add noise (or whatever you add) before blurring.

It's a great shot, but I have to agree with Luis that the blur could be a bit stronger. Loving the classic tones though 👍 Just don't get too good before the 2.0 tourney :D

I did add noise, but not as much as usual. Probably why it looks softer. I went back to my good old days for my qualifying entry with a sharp blur and some strong colours. I think I spent 4 hours on it, although I honestly think it doesn't show. But anyway, I really am looking forward to the tournament and I also look forward to what you guys have to comment on my qualifying round entry:tup:

*EDIT*

Since the tournament doesn't get underway for a month, I can just post it up and see what you guys think about it and improve from there. I've used a new method to get the panel gaps as flowing as possible and I think they look great. Some heavy colours this time, and since some people didn't really like the soft blur from the previous update I went with a sharper blur this time. Not entirely confident with the angle, but I do think the RX-7 in yellow looks gorgeous! I think next up is a Mustang :)
