Cant you save custom colours (3) when you save the livery?
The colors will save on the car but the palette will reset, unfortunately. I think you may be referring to the "color chip" that shows when you name the livery? That is for the in-race roster, for example, where it shows the car color.

Definitely an enhancement I would like to see. Maybe even have "downloadable" chips from other users so I can match colors to their decals, etc.

Anyone have the code for the Calsonic blue?
Thanks.

Quick note: be careful with colours like Petronas Green and Cadbury's Purple, they're copyrighted shades and it's possible that PD might take down liveries using those colours.

Sorry this might not be appropriate, but you guys seem to know your stuff.
Once I've made a particular colour for a livery, is there any way to save it so when I come back to the livery editor the next day I can use it again? Or is it just a case of making a note of the numerical values of the colour before I switch the PS4 off?

Many thanks

Do what I do. Don’t turn off the PS4. ;) nah but seriously if you must, just go into sleep mode while in the livery editor. It’ll suspend the game and you can pick it up where you left it. With all custom colors on the palette intact.

Thanks for the concern. But I doubt those two matter more than any of the other of the custom decals people are uploading ;)

Thanks guys.

So far I've been whipping the phone out and taking a screen shot of the hue codes for custom colours.
Looks like I'll have to continue Doing so.
Quite a big omission on PD's part to not give you an option to save colours you need the next day somewhere
Who finishes an 11 hour livery in one hit?

Doing a Castrol livery. Pretty sure they have a brighter color so I'll just call this Castrol Dark. 36,78,45.

Looks like they don't. So just call that Castrol Green.

Also got the colour for Castrol Red. 98, 92, 92

Try 51 94 91[/QUOTE
Thanks @trustjab :), I'll try that. I'm working on a replica livery, the IMSA WeatherTech Corvette Racing C7R #3, and one of my handmade decals, run over an area, where I had to cover It with a yellow decal to give It a sharp line, but I used the Corvette Gr.3's original yellow colour, and I struggle to match It. Thanks for helping. :)

This is awsome, how are you sure that your codes are 100%? Not being funny, just asking? How do confirm the code? As there is plenty I would like to know, mybe you can show us how you do it and we can also look up what we want and post here?
Thank you for a great thread/subject...

I work in my daily live for an automotive consultant for several car brands (including BMW and Peugeot) therefore I could ask the marketing departments for the exact colours.

The other colours I used an emulator. But before I did research of all the available colour codes for Martini and Gulf available.

H: 13 S: 45 V: 80 if you want matching gold on your helmet with the stripes on the Alpinestars Suit No.2!

Can you please find the color code for Mazda's Deep Crystal Blue Mica? It's the color of my brother's new Mazda 3 and I want to recreate it for him on the Atenza aka Mazda 6

Hi Scorpoin Topaz

I found the following on the web Mazda colour deep crystal Blue Mica RGB #123667102

https://www.rapidtables.com/convert/color/rgb-to-hsv.html you will get the following

H: 219 /3.6 --> 60,83 --> 61
S: 100
V: 40

I've sorted it, but for anyone who wants to know, swap you RGB to a normal HSV code, now from this take the H value (say 195 degrees) and divide this by 3.6 (so you'll get 54.1667, so use 54 in the H section of the colour picker), the S and V values stay as are, you can now colour match RGB codes to get an exact paint colour you require for your paint job.

Hope this helps

Hey I’ve got a request if that’s ok. I’m looking for the Championship blue color code to match the Calsonic Blue livery. Thank for any help
