In the car tuning menu, GT5 had a beautiful chart showing the power(hp)xRPM and torque(lbft or Nm)xRPM curves, with gridlines, which allowed us to take notice where were the peak power and how steep was the power loss after the peak.
It was very important if you wanted to know when to change gear, maximizing the average power extracted through each gear.
In GT6, however, the graph shows only the max.RPM in the X axis, which doesn't help at all if the peak power is in the middle of the rev range (more common on turbocharged engines). I find myself guessing where the peak power is counting backwards from the max.RPM, given the differences in the power curve's inclination throughout the rev range.
I can imagine they went for a less poluted, minimalistic, layout but it's just worse for those who want to extract the information.
Please, PD, more information is always better than less! Bring back gridlines in those charts!
If it shows not to be hard, please, add labels and scales!
