British GT Summer series 2014 *Drivers needed*Open

For the GT4 class, I was thinking standard (ie no tuning) GT300 cars. So the BRZ, Garaiya, and IS350. But not sure if this would over complicate it too much?

I have only just noticed, but the team Oreca r8 is a different model than the team phionix version. To prevent the need to spec an entirely different car, I'm going to take the team Oreca r8 out and add one additional slot to the other teams so each team will now be made up of three drivers. Either that or add a gt4 class made up of 3 teams? Not sure may add a poll to help decide.

cool i'd make the GT3 cars around normal spec like 350-400bhp and the GT4 cars 200-250bhp

Okay done a lot of work on the series today and have decided on taking out one GT3 team and put in three GT4 teams. I will post a lot more info in this tomorrow such as specs and such. I've also added one more race event, not yet decided on a track. Anyone who has already signed up, I'll keep you in the car you wanted originally but if you want to switch to GT4 once I update the list tomorrow just let me know.

Okay made some pretty big changes to the Series description. I am working hard to complete the new specs ASAP, I have the specs ready mostly just need to type them up. I have updated the car list so you can see the GT4 cars, they will be spec'd to 200-280bhp and will have all aero parts on etc. but I will confirm a lot more info on this when I release the specification document next week. I have also changed the specs of the GT3 cars to bring them closer to how they are irl. I hope you will like these changes, I am personally very exited about them myself.

I will post the updates ASAP, but I'm leaving for the British GP tomorrow morning and am only returning in Monday so I'm aiming to release the specs next Wednesday 👍

Ignore my post from this Morning, I've done some solid work on this today in order to get out the new specifications so no need to wait until I get back on Monday. I hope you like the changes made to the series. Please read the new specifications and let me know your thoughts and tell me if you want to change class etc. Once again the specs are in their early stages and are still subject to change, but the cars are here to stay. Reserve because I'm not available 11 - 14 August and 18 - 21 August and as I understand there will be 2 races some time during the week. Other than that I would be happy to join for the other races if there is space on the grid.

Not done any testing for a while with being away for the w/end etc. However, I will be continuing testing tomorrow daytime, opening a room at around 11 am and closing it at 1 pm BST if anyone would like to join. I'll post on here when the room is open. I also want to firm up the sporting regs and calendar etc and I am aiming to release new documents in the coming days so keep an eye out for updates to the opening post. Rob

Yes should be announcing the first race date either tonight or tomorrow, it will be sometime this coming week.

Edit: My bad, the first race week is next week so will announce the first race date next Saturday/ Sunday

Okay, one week until the first race date is to be confirmed. Currently we probably don't have as many drivers as I'd want. We need a lot more GT4 drivers if I'm to put that series on, and could do with filling the remaining GT3 seats also, so anyone you know who may be interested, try and get them involved if possible. I have had a pretty busy week and so haven't got much testing done but if anyone else has and has feedback, it would be appreciated. Finally if anyone wants to do any last minute testing this week post on here and see if anyone's available and I'll try and get a session going. Hope to see you all on track next week, Rob

Okay quick note. The specs for the GT4 Aston have been slightly changed, the Flat floor A is removed, and Wing E has been added.
