I am having problems with this race. Bob is always crashing and cant even chase the 1st place car:grumpy::ouch: and Im using a McClaren F1 and The Jaguar Race car '66

ANY TIPS:scared:

THANKS!

what level is your bob? And which race are you talking about?
I did mine back when bob was level 9 with a Elise from the dealership, (RM-ed, no other mod, with the top tyre option avaliable for the race). He had no problem with the first race. But the one on the Top Gear track. An AI ran into my bob in the middle cross over places. and then my bob got confused and went the wrong way..... 1-11 in a heart beat. I would say dont use a car that is too fast to avoid running into others on the Top gear track.

Tell it to overtake at the very beginning and then keep telling it to slow down as it approaches corners. You may also want to try and max the gear ratio.

I used the '66 Jaguar and didn't particularly struggle ... you just have to tell Bob to decrease pace quite a bit and work out where he is most likely to pass the opposition.

As somebody else mentioned though, the Top Gear test track can be a ballache if you get hit on the crossover and go the wrong way - my Bob also went from 1st to 11th in the blink of an eye! :ouch:

My Bob did it in the Fireblade. Not a particularly fast car, even fully modded. But I did have to tell him to overtake many times to get him to pass.

If you like this one, you'll LOVE the historic race in B-spec.

Is he crashing while generally driving the course, or is he crashing while going through the crossover, and being knocked off course by the competitors?

Bob used my stealth mclaren, and got so far in front of the competition, each time he went through a cross over, there was a genuine fear that he would be hit by a car half a lap behind him. It cost him a win a couple of times, before I watched to work out what happened. I babysat him for a win though.

But anyway, I would suggest finding a car that's significantly more powerful than the opposition, but not so much so that they build up a huge lead, even when falling into the cool zone.

If your Bob is just losing in general, and not for the reason I said, I don't know what to say...I guess your Bob could just be rubbish.

I used a Bentley Speed 8. He nearly crashed into other cars in the Top Gear race, but every time he missed them by like less than an inch, it was fantastic!
