Proposed Qualifying Setting's Procedure

1. Set event settings too "Disable Collisions" on.

2. Usual 15 minute session without auto start.

3. Myself or Gedi will post "Q time up" we will then give you 10 seconds to make a mental note of your grid position.

4. We return to the lobby reset "Disable Collisions" to off.

5. Start race and use the formation lap to get into our grid positions.

6. Go at start line as the norm.

Any questions?:)

When you say Q time up and does that mean finish your lap or what time you've set is set in stone?

Slightly confused by the impression things are mixed up with the quali we have at the moment don't really understand that one

If we were using the auto timer you wouldn't get to finish your lap would you, so as soon as the "Q over" message pops up. Stop and record your position 10 seconds should be plenty.:)

Its a proposal on the feedback some of you have left here or in pm's to me lastnight. Its out there to be discussed I no not whether its floored simply makes sense on paper I hope:nervous:.:dopey:

Whats wrong with the q format as is now ?

If you space out then you dont have to worry about draft .

And whats wrong with draft in qualy , teammates could help each other out .

Firstly people don't space out throughout a quali session bunching up with heavy fields cant be helped sometimes. So someone is bound to pick up toe from somewhere then the "Did you draft that lap" crap starts, I don't fancy watching/checking.:yuck: Second not everyone has a teammate:crazy:. It doesn't bother me greatly either way although personally I favour non draft aided laps otherwise we will all be waiting for some poor sap to set off first where's his help. If enough of you pipe up and say leave it leave it we will im simply acting on the concerns some of you told me yesterday.:)

GVS News.

Race 1 Laps ~ 8+1
Race 2 Laps ~ 19+1

Small bit of advice practice that first turn:scared: Learn your braking points the Vettes brakes are known to be a little iffy:indiff:. This won't drive like the Lexus did.:sly:

The drafting does throw a bit of a lottery in the qualy sessions tho , which I think is a good thing .

Anyways im cool either way .

No complaints received then guys? (Nel your bang to rights:Px) if we haven't heard by close of play today we will assume alls well.:)

Haven't done a race run yet and won't be doing one today I don't think but did some quali/race 1 practice to get used to the car best time is a 1.58.388.

Here comes the short race replay of the Indy race. As it seems, you didn't want music, so there's no music :)

Enjoy!

By the way, I got an offer from my ISP earlier this week that I just couldn't resist... so now I have upgraded my broadband from 24/1 mbit to 100/10 mbit... speed shouldn't be a problem now, neither upload or download, so I should hopefully not have any bandwith issues any longer.. (And sorry for the double post...)
