Start procedure is a lap at 100mph in single file formation and then a rolling start?

Yep and remember you can't floor it till your front bumper is on the line 👍 oh and must be in grid formation to the run up to the line.

Good fun:tup: just hope this season dosent come down too who survives the lag yours Nel was terrible in race 2 mr killed me and the senior which is a shame.

the lack of set-up for me tonight killed me as i was around 1-1.5 second off a decent pace as most of my lap times were in the high 46's and low 47's but it's a start.

also what didn't help the fact i had only around 10 laps on the car and not much experience around daytona road

Lag destroyed my 1st race, but 2nd race was good. Had a good battle with Skeng and Simmons early on.. Pitted a lap after Simmons but lost a chunk of time and was pushing too hard to try and catch up. Also had a good few laps with gedi towards the end of race.

Was good racing tonight. Race one was aggressive, i guess new bloke so i need to learn. race two i knew pace was there, i just kept up with others. was good fun, hard long fight. got 3s lead but no idea how since someone was behind me on straight. amazed i won but i doubt it will happen again. still need to get setup on car just ran with what i had but gears i had changed.

Sorry about turn 1 lap 2 race 2, can't really picture what happened but I ended up in the way of a few people , thought best to stay where I was and hope people avoided me instead of try and rejoin at such a difficult place.

Anyway, hoping to be a bit closer to the field on the other tracks (well apart from GVS/R246) as I don't like them either.

Got to lap 20 then had to start tea for my mrs, (she's a nurse so works crazy hours) so I just pitted for the remaining 6 laps.
