i found that if i wasnt in a draft i couldnt catch any car so its defo the draft where the real speed comes from. i was even behind king in his lambo and coz i wasnt close enough i still couldnt catch him.

Glad to see all went well, hopefully we have no connection issues next week,

Yep and that wasnt the case earlier in the season was it TL?

@Crap totally forgot about your gesture Dave thanks again for being so understanding most throw a wobbly in such a situation thanks again.👍
Look forward to better luck for you nextweek.:indiff:

I was more then happy to step back, I'm only signed as a reserve driver, if I was in with a shot at the title it may have been a different story

Maybe the others have caught up !!!

Fuji is always a follow the leader draft game and if your decent in s3 and get a nice exit out the last corner it makes a difference .

The brakes are what kill the vette all that extra speed means nothing when you cant slow down .

Sorry Skeng wasn't supposed to be a dig perhaps its that simple fella im just reading it how i see it:guilty:. Your twice the driver i am im fully aware that has alot to do with it.👍 It also seems if you can hit the front with clean air staying theirs quite comfortable.

Just having fun , I think its a combination of everything really .

Clean air does make a world of difference , your right about that one

@Gedi:
Did watch the replay of R2 from many perspectives.
I remembered the Speeds achieved in clean air directly before the brake-point.
Lambos did around 293kph -1-2kph
Vette did 302kph +- 2kph
SLS also did around 292kph
458 ~ 300kph
430 ~ 300kph ///maxed at 309kph => Hanc tune your Tranny better xDD *note: Hanc never had realy clean air ;)

So if you had a bad exit which happend sometimes you could barely follow me, but if you where close you passed me before finish-line.

Other things:
The Racing was very good. Hard but super fair. And it was relativly close. Ok skeng did catch clean air and nailed them Laps, but rest was slowing eachother down due to heavyly fighting.
JB, Joe and Hanc did wonderful sport (until Hanc lost contact around Lap 26), Gedi was in neverland xD Gap to hanc and gap to the other Threesome:
Toffe, Nel and Me

After that Chris did all he could but making a few mistakes and NO Draft just isn´t a good combo :D

BTW I now know why Gedi passed me in the Pits:
Chris !!
I was leaving my crew and matched chris. He slowed down and so did I => this costed me 2-4 seconds.

As for lag: It always was and will be there without dedicated servers !
=> Training online won´t be worth anything if the Lobby isn´t "perfect" or 1-3 peeps have minor issues and/or slower interwebs.

Me has 17mb download and 2mb upload and that is quite fast me think and if a 5mb/0.8mb dude is in the Lobby it will slow the faster web down
(this is my theorie, because with my speed I shouldn´t have any con-issues I rarely get)

The problem I have is I have to make the car very loose to get it to turn in and I begin to make mistakes when the tyres start to wear! The 430 is a fast car but I feel its cornering ability is probably the worst out the bunch, especially on the tight corners, all my time was lost in S3... That's my excuse anyway!

If those speeds are correct what the hell has happened to the poor SLS:crazy: Gotta admit fellas im so glad theres no more V-Spec car balancing to do for the rest of GT5!! It simply dosent remain consistent through out a season these days.:guilty:

Fuji race replay

Replay:

Enjoy!

Gedi & kingsakery have been issued warnings for race 2 at Fuji.

Gedi for persistent rear ending.
King for his dodgy overtake on neljack.

Guys theres a chance im not going to be back in time for mondays race dull stuff i wont bore you with.:yuck: Taking the Toads circumstances into account we will be postponing Spa for a week call it a late mid season break.:dopey: Apologies for the inconvenience but we'd prefare atleast one of us present, hope you's understand.xx:tup::guilty:

Just watched some of Toffes video back so sorry for the lag spike Skeng caused by me and Carb i had no clue. In future anyone who cant clear the infamous loading bar thingy will have to sit out myself included apologies again.:guilty:

SLS is just slow to accelerate for whatever reason. :nervous:

May need its 10kg weight reduction changed to a small power increase (or in addition to it).

More power for a car we had to run heavier and minus a supercharger in past seasons feels crazy tbh.:nervous::crazy:

Yeh i think joe was getting a little carried away , imagine if i took that suggested 10 hp boost to the lambo :)

I think its impossible to spec the cars to run same times at every track , a 2-3 tenth difference is expected .

Some cars will shine at some tracks while some cars wont and vice verse , you get the point
