Team MRT would like to announce that the next race of the BST V8 CHALLENGE will be their last races of the Season. Furi has decided that the car is not suitable for Laguna Seca and the Nurburgring Norschleife and will withdraw for the those events. Testing will continue ahead of Tsukuba, where the car will run a commerative Paint scheme. Team MRT would like to thank everyone in the BST V8 CHALLENGE for their support, and with the best of luck to everyone involved.

What? Come on man, watch me win in Laguna, it's my lucky track.:sly: Let's continue our championship battle, cause I'm nowhere near anybody else.

See ya.:ouch:

Laguna Seca and the Nordschleife are my worst tracks, nearly as bad as Suzuka. I took 1 win and I'll remember that. :) No hard feelings guys, been great racing you all. 👍

You have put us in a weird position furi!
If this is your last race then you have nothing to race for which might end up in just taking the pee and going on a destructive mission!!
Sad to see you go tho.

No I'm just gonna race because I like racing. I want to end on a high note, and race against JB, RP, gedi and co. one more time.

BUT... not ruling out staying on if I have a good showing (IE:Podiums). Anyway whose been testing at Tsukuba? Anyone? Good way to pass the online downtime.

Gran Turismo 5 Online Maintenance Schedule Released
Gran Turismo 5 August 23rd, 2011 by Jordan

Polyphony Digital has taken an unusual – though certainly welcome – opportunity to announce scheduled downtime for Gran Turismo 5‘s online services through mid-September. While it is not clear what, if anything, these maintenance periods will bring with them in the form of software updates, it’s worth noting the release of new GT5 versions have frequently been released after network downtime.

Here’s the schedule, though actual start and end times may vary:

August 23, 2011, 10:00-16:00 EST
August 29, 2011, 22:00-23:00 EST
September 6, 2011, 10:00-18:00 EST
September 13, 2011, 10:00-18:00 EST

*Not on a Monday, so you are clear guys 👍
