Just done some laps around HSR and 1.04s for me don't know how your getting 1.01s

Best i can get is a 1.03 dead. But the tyre wear is scary. Still to do a tyre run but initial thoughts, 💡 if i change lines and drop to 1.04's a 1 stop "MAY" be possible. Maybe work on set up a bit more. Think i have the LSD at 10/15/8. Front tyres were going red trying to power out some corners.

My initial fears were the same as you guys^^:scared: Being fairly new to this track its taken me over 100 laps to kinda get the hang of the correct gear/lines for each corner(mainly turn 2/3 and the last:ouch:) Tyre recking 102/3 laps would be a 2 stopper all day long but with a little less aggression 103/4 pace laps a 1 stopper is just about possible i think:ill: However ive a feeling the race will pan out very different to the solo runs ive done so will probably do my usual and try to copy the strategy of the guy in front.:sly:

Heres a tip i learnt from Neljack that last corner can be taken alot quicker than you might think, i could have been the only one that missed this however just thought i'd share it anyways.👍
 
Note to self: setup was too aggressive, though it remained consistent so it just might be good enough for the sprint.
 
Huh, how were you going that fast? My guess is you might have competed against my time instead. :P

Got a few set up tweaks and found a new racing line, got it perfectly hooked up. Usually splits me vs you were:

S1 Me -0.3
S2 Me +0.6
S3 Me +0.1

That lap I was on...
S1 Me -0.7
S2 Me +0.1
S3 would have been around 0.3 up had I not clipped the kerb.
 
Actually it was like this (from my view):

S1: +0.5
S2: -0.1
S3: -0.2

So I went faster in two splits, but particularly the 2nd one, in the 3rd we were mostly tied.

Yeah the Lotus is better at the banked parts but 4WD propels the Audi through S2, I found that testing against JB some time ago.
 
Still haven't tested, but I think I'm going for handling instead of power and doing a 1-stop will be a bad idea.

But a 2 stopper will drop you far back just like Indy :/ DBC really needs the points on the final stretch to possibly get past TeamTurbo...

Yes but there's like 5-6 seconds difference between fresh tyres and worn tyres.

Does the Ford GT have the torque distributor? I guess you could one stop more easily by putting more power to the front and toning down LSD.

EDIT: Probably not as I guess it's for 4WD only...
