I will wait on GTP's car selection. I know what I am running though.

If we happen to run different cars then no bother, I've got a different team-mate for this series, but it would have absolutely no effect on TOCA.

Also, I think I know what car furi is going to race.;)

I don't want to be running a car that the majority of people have, luckily no car had the majority last season, well, maybe the M3.

I think the Audi R8 will be the car to beat this season personally, but this was with no testing at all.

We have had a chat if some of you guys wish to team up thats fine, mad scramble for a quick team mate!!:odd:

NOTE: Livery may change depending on teams 👍

Racerpaul has shown good pace in the SLS its a brute!! Its like trying to pass a 200mph ferry!!:nervous:

R8 handles well and has a good base setup but its not that fast in straight line. I think some of the others can be improved a lot more with slight tuning. The esprit seems the quickest in straight line by a bit but it wants to go sideways everywhere!

I loved the Lotus got it set up just right and came close to changing to it tbh, i did a 1'46 around Monza a second quicker on the night than the 458 and the R8 (69 will vouch for it) overall though for me its a little behond my talent level for an overall season commitment.

As for the R8 thank god for the rest it is a little slower in a straight line nothing would live with it otherwise really think things will be close.👍

When we were testing the Mclaren and R8 it was epically close, I got away on the straights while you caught up in the corners 👍

And like i said it seemed it had a NOS button!

Yeah Tom they indeed were close that Mclaren is ultra quick in a straight line:scared: Even trying to draft you the thing pulled away!! :yuck:

I'd like to have a go at this in the Lotus Esprit, one of my favourite cars. I looked through the regulations and couldn't see anything about what tyres to use, maybe it's there and I missed it?

Tyre selection is unlimited, for the sprint race everybody generally uses Racing Softs and for the Endurance it makes it more interesting because if someone decides to do a long stint on Racing Softs then there tyres will be past it come the pitstop and the driver behind who may be on Racing Hards for example will be able to carry on and make their pitstop later in the race when they have a gap to the other drivers 👍

Hey Cobrius be nice to have someone new.👍 The tyres are your personal choice most of us tend to run racing slicks as the norm, welcome aboard!!👍

Some might not be able too.(send pictures.)

If you can't, then set the car to share and someone can do it for you. But they might steal your setup in the process. ;)

I am currently in negotiation with another driver to join this series. We are both working out how our 'Summer time' works with the times in England. So for now I would be an emergency with my car unknown.

Maybe teams just need the same distinct color and not matching car makes. Then the team would have cars with different strengths and weaknesses. Also they would have the disadvantage of not sharing setups. So a decision would need to be made carefully before a team decides.
