MRT are in negotiations with at least 1 driver for Season 2 of V8 Challenge.

I will most likely be up for this however I do have a slight concern.

"Anything allowed in the license test is ok"

Monza, 1st turn in the license you can completely cut the corner, if this is allowed I will not be racing with you guys.

We have found that a two wheels on track at all times policy has been very successful and it makes it easier for drivers and stewards alike to know what is allowed and what is cheating.

I hate people winning races simply because they are better at cheating than I am 👎

Apart from that this looks very good and I would like to be a part of it :)

Had my heart set on GT40 or r8 but after testing esprit again on tracks like monza and sarthe I'm not so sure. it absolutely annihilates everything else in a straight line! With the right setup this car would be hard to beat!

Thanks for your concern but we run a tight clean series, all our drivers are a good bunch and have good racing manners as this is why me and johnboy set this up.
We were fed up of bad drivers.
I can vouch for all of them and all of them dont cut chicanes thats why we can have penaltys off because we trust our drivers 100%.

Hope this gives you a better understanding about what this series is about.
Only 3 spots left.

Cool, nothing against you guys, you know what some are like.

When does the season kick off?

Around the 18th October gives people plenty of time to get used to cars.
We have our little mini series after S1 for 2 nights.

Shall I put your name down?

Sounds good mate, count me in 👍

I will let you know as soon as I have tested what car I will use, can I choose from any or is there a limit to how many can use a certain car?

Car entry and colour must be decided 1 week before start of series.
We will see how it goes about car limits.

Welcome aboard steg!

Only 2 spots left!

We have our last race on Monday so if there's space you are more than welcome to come and watch our championship decider.

Wrapping up my own 1st series at the moment my friend so I don't have much free time, thanks for the invite though. 👍

*Suggestion only*

Teams: Each team will have both cars painted in the same color. The wheels can be different styles or color. The cars can be the same or different models.

- The different wheel color is for photos/videos. The same model allows setup sharing. Different models allows different strengths for different tracks.

If this route is taken then a prize could be offered for the Team Championship. But it would need to be a good prize.

Also, the points for the team championship could be a little different. Maybe something for pole and something for laps completed. This would reward drivers being there for every race and completing every lap.

E.g.- Furi 10 point for pole, 28 points for 4 laps at Nordshlief, 20 points for the second. 58 points total.
J.B. 28 points for 4 laps at Nordshlief, 25 point for the win. 53 points total.

This is a suggestion only. None of the point ratio's are correct or suggested. This would need to be worked out if this route is to be taken. 28 points for 4 laps of Nord is 1 point per estimated minutes per lap.

Sounds good I will go away and have a think about it.

Would be easier just to combine driver points for team totals

It would but this would be a way to keep it interesting for the guys that do every race but don't win often.

But again, it's a suggestion to be spoken about and people need to agree. Any and all suggestions are good as long as they are constructive. So anyone else can put forward alternatives.

I've tested 3 cars so far. I'm yet to be given the green light by my boss to join the series. They are 3 completely different cars with different strengths and weaknesses. I will look again at the track list and decide what I will drive. Then I will decide between driver and emergency.

Well said Gedi couldnt agree more, with 5 stewards this season we will be able to clamp down even more on any discrepancies which might occur. So if we are trusting everyone 100% maybe we can do away with the pens option for tracks like Monza,Fuji,De Le Sarthe etc??. Some great ideas banding about which me and gedi will no doubt talk over today, really like the idea about different wheel colours to distinguish same car teams welldone Mills. Ive no doubt this series will be epic once we iron a few things out:tup:

So shall I put you down for reserve mills?
