Pm'd everyone in the field regarding time slot change nobody has reported back with any problems, so from Daytona onwards if gedi agrees i will try to get the lounge open around 6.45pm GMT with qualifying starting at 7pm and race 1 will commence at 7.30pm GMT.đź‘Ť
Race 2 will get going around 5 minutes after race 1 so puff quick:sly: Will check and double check everyone is present and ready then hit the go button!!!:)

Or just set the race timer so race starts dead on 5 mins just like what furi does in toca.

I hate Tsukuba mainly cause I got a pole and two wins there last season(Perfect night) only to find out it didn't count for anything.:irked:

Akmuq I postponed that race before the races started!! It's not my fault no one listened or took notice!!
 
I feel Daytona is going to be an Audi track again, for what I've experienced, it really
doesn't show love to oversteering cars :sly:
With the benefit of hindsight, I should have picked the Audi. It's 4wd is a big advantage
in both terms of traction and spreading tyre wear around the car

But...

When it comes to looks, my SLS AMG is imo the best looking car on the grid :cool: :D

Interestingly (maybe lol), I've gone the opposite way and piled some weight onto my SLS

Up from 1325kg to 1420kg, much nearer the weight of my S1 winning Camaro

That's allowed me to get the power up from 492bhp to 511bhp, and I feel more comfortable
in the Merc now

I need a good showing at Daytona Road :nervous:

On power circuits try reducing downforce and increasing bhp, might help out more then you think!
 
Well done to Furi on getting back in the series, only just heard. Good luck to you and my former team mate Tom. I will (hopefully) be changing team or independent name anyway.

I have tested with power and weight etc but my result is the same (almost). I´m not faster if I add weight and add power => my Car stays the same.
Did my first 22 Laps on Daytona and my Nemisis turns are the fast chicanes. I frequently misbrake. There is no sign/object/shadow where I can set my brakepoint.
Best time: 1:44.318
But 1:45´s are more common :D

Short Question: I think the pitexit is quite dangerous. GT5P had the better Pitexit. For our race: Should we use the small lane at turn 1 ?? (behind the barrier)

In the Bus Stop chicane, curb is track. Keep at least two wheels on the track.

Pit entrance, Do not cross the thick yellow line. Pull onto the apron before it starts. Also, try to stay within the thick yellow line and the white line.

Although there is no speed limit, stay within the white lines on pit exit, as well.

But 4wd audi will be a different challenge but i rate this as one of my favorite tracks it has also given my best ever race in WSGTC where i managed to race Aderrrm who would normally be over 2 secs a lap faster, although we work on a ballast penalty for the top 3 (in every race) so Aderrrm had the max 200kgs as he won Monaco with 180kgs :scared: (he also won overall WSGTC)

We Started up the Season 3 thread (starts January) also so if anyone here is interested in joining us to race in Gt500 or Gt300 your more than welcome as some of our regulars might not be able to race for next season đź‘Ť

nah wierldy my connection gets better when it feels like and ive not had the problem of it going off/on since saturday 22nd of October (i think my balling over the phone to AOL made them sort it "or Else" :lol:) where i DCed from the series i run at 2am Uk, its Us based night time and its based on a production series over there i also won all the races up to then in the Mighty Mini :D

^Very strong series. Going from competing in race wins in the V8's and TOCA to being in the midfield for WSGTC came as quite a big shock.
