Saying that BMW v Dodge battle laps 26~28 = EPIC:bowdown: JB's closing fast!!

Reported issues no worse than 50/50 racing incidents in my view (guys concerned) could have been worse think of poor Toffe.:ouch:

Well I reviewed the Race2 and I have to say:
I was on the Edge of cutting many many times. In addition I cutted too much (for my liking).
But some cutts I only did to prevent a Road block and or crashes.
Furthermore my screen at the start didn´t say "Brakes till start" => I jump started and was very angry at GT5.
But I shouldn´t have cutted first chicane because of that.

As an Former-Steward I would suggest a penalty for me. If not its ok but I didn´t like my chicane-usage while viewing the Replay.


Well I think jonzter left because of me ??
Race1 Parabolica:
He ran wider than normal => me into insideline stayed there and he steered into me.
After straight he came with limiter-bouncing into my inside (he missbraked not rammed me intentionally)
=> me had a damage and lost draft (gedi was whitness cause he passed me :D)

After that jonszter stod still and after race was over he left.
Hope it wasn´t my fault though.

Reports:
R1:
Messed up my start but thats normal for me. Was held up by JB and Jonz so I couldn´t do my corner speeds and accelpoints.
Jonz and I had a slight crash which caused me and him time and positions.
Gedi passed and I had some good laps with him.
I could close to Andy and Nel (respectively Nel closed to us) and we had a fine battle till end.
Only thing I have to say is final straight: Andy swerved from far right to far left. That´s not fine racing (MHO).


R2:
Messed up my start again but reason above.
Went for an overtaking-spree till end of Lap 3 I was around podium (2-5).
Spun out at outside of Parabolica. Smoked and caused Andy to almost crash into me.
Went directly into the Pits and refueled cause my screen said Fuel12 => t finish race I had to refuel ;) But more later.

Had fine clean air and did some low 49´s. Didn´t want to ruin my Tires too much so no 48´s.
Lap 9/10 almost all pitted except Andy and at that point I thought he goes for a 1 stopper.
JB and Toffe came out of the pits => 3 into T1/2
I raced them till lap 12ish and then decided to just stay in their draft.
On the end of Lap 16 I pitted.
I came out as prelast only Haitch was behind.
I again raced with Gedi for only one Lap.
On Lap 18 all did their 2nd stopp and JB/Toffe exited directly around me.
We 3 closed to Andy who was struggleing with them worn Tires.
JB spunout at ascari => Toffe and me on our own to catch Andy.

I thought to myself don´t Battle that much and I backed off a few times => we finally got to Andy.
And man those Laps where tight tough and fun. Nel closed the Gap because of that but on the final lap it was Toffe or me for the win.
He passed me on 2nd chicane.
We went side-by-side up to Parabolica and suddenly he gotten slower. I thought oh no thats not fair.
I went to an "easy" win and Andy had probably the most screwed Tires ever he lost 2 positions (Nel and JB), but me think Stefano Domenicali told Andy that JB is faster 2 times :D

Will award you a dont do it again you naughty boy penalty of 5 seconds meaning you still won by 1.275 seconds.:P

Andy you indeed did do a 147.868 plenty of draft help but you did cut the 3 major time saving corners which closed you right up on Nel and Sakary. The fact that others around you were borderline will save your result please be careful though mate could have cost you.
(Oh and breath before you reply to this:D)

Hi guys, you still remember me? :) anyway i just wanted to say that I was abroad studying during the year and I haven't really followed gt5 game, now I'm back for the summer (woooohooo :D ) and it's nice to see that the BST v8 is still up and going :) if it would be possible, I would love to spectate a race or two to see how the new cars ( I mean the ones that weren't in Season 1) compare to the old ones :) Lots of fun on the track guys :)

During race I thought I´m ok but after reviewing my amount of cutting was a bit too much.
You know that this won´t happen again 👍

Next race is Spa *Yeeehaaa*

That was when Brick went from the left, to the right and I was stuck in the middle :eek: close stuff

I didnt think I blocked anyone - you were about 0.8 back, so if you were going to make an overtake it would be very brave and probably end in tears, but I never shut the door when people were right behind/beside me

I should of doen 14/14, rather than 13/15 but my tyres werent bad - I was slowing myself down and infact after my pit stop I was going too fast, so I had gone 1 second slower I would of been able to push for the last 5 laps - rather than the last 3. But my tyres were fine - but a few taps didnt help, but I would say my 1 stop was better than a 2, I gained about 14 seconds so difficult but better :)

Nice 3 wide photos but at Monza it is very frequent :lol:. I remember back in WSGTC S2 we were doing that every lap for the lead and it's allways fun 👍. (When I was a mere GTP noob :P.)

Good to see you all had a clean fair race too :).
 
No 3 was max after that there wasnt any space to go lol. I was crapping myself as that was the first time that I experinced this :scared:. It did help that my car was fast in straights back then. I only was on GTP for like a month so I was a newbie :P.

I mean if you were to go back to the thread and see my posts from then, they were horrible, no caps where needed etc and generally poor grammer :ill:.

Gotta say though the Dodge looks funny in yellow though :sly:.

Well we are called Bee Sting racing so yellow is our main colour and dodge works it well with the black strip too
