Last night racing in my opinion was good even tho too many ppl dc'd... As for any dirty racing I didn't actually see any... Yes I had been pushed off by someone who decided that I went wide so put it up my inside just as I turned in for the apex but other than that it was all cool... Just a racing incident... As for waiting for the overtake... Yes that is most definately the right way to race ... Much better than getting your elbows out... Thing with the nurb is that yeah although it may be 2.2 cars wide as soon as someone tries to overtake just park it in the middle of the track... No longer giving you the chance... Causing mostt ppl to push past... Especially if its a mid pack runner with the leaders pulling away... So either race with exceptional drivers who race fair or do the dirty nurb... There's no in between at the nurb

I don't have a problem and we know real BTCC cars have rear wings.
I think they got removed to make balancing the cars easyier.
Think there had them in the first rounds of BTCC before my time join here.

Rolo would know the full facts, but I'm sure they got removed to open the feild choice of cars.
plus make it easyier to test and balance the cars.

Anyway it's the way things are here and the testing been done.
Maybe rolo will post up reasons why they got removed, maybe Rolo need to say why this is the case in the rules.
May save him time repeating himself time and time again

I do apologize but I'm going to have to drop out of the series. I just don't have enough time lately especially now that we started GT500 racing again it's taking to much of my GT time.

Enjoy the new season guys. Sea ya

Sorry I have been out of touch with this series for the last few weeks due to other commitments; is there any racing tonight?

I'm looking forward to next week, hopefully it'll be a close season like the last one. 👍 I'm really busy with work at the moment so my testing is very limited, I hope to get a chance to set the car up before Thursday but at the moment it isn't looking likely.

Sorry to hear that nissman! Maybe see you again! :)

👍 rolo I'll have my usual then.

killa!! Another BTCC champ returns. Welcome back mate. Running under eBay Motors or fancying a change?

Please remember it's a 6.45pm start for Pre-Q drivers on Thursday (anyone who isn't @rolo912011 @Ian_83 @AudiMan2011 @CptMadBean @DirtyNurbKing58 @mrbrendon999 @hurleyman24 @SkengD). As in, I will spec check at 6.45 and kick off the 8-minute session then. Latecomers will fail to qualify so bear it in mind! Please ensure your cars are oil changed and running at correct specs.

8 Q spots are available currently. No Pre-Q race this season - quite simply, the fastest 8 (or 6, usually) on track progress.

Remember too that a 1-lap race will kick off at the end of the session to help me note results. Do not drive off the line. Stay where you are until I tell you to quit the race.

Connections - really not that keen on spending 20 minutes waiting for people. Make sure your caches are cleared and everything is as good as it can be. I'm not going to wait very long for known, persistent offenders. A lot of racing to get through. In the case of Pre-Q I definitely won't be waiting. I know my connection is as vulnerable as anyone else's, but hopefully it will last. Hope it all runs smooth :nervous: Did anyone sort out "reserve hosts"? Remember a reserve host would need to do all of the settings changes and such like. So get familiar with it all :sly:

Driving Standards - You know what we expect of each other. Make sure it happens. Stewards this season are myself, skeng, Ian and Street.

Spec Changes - Unless there's anything dramatic before Thursday, no more spec changes this season at drivers' request. That said, open-minded if enough people shout loud enough. Needs to be a significant majority though.

Car Choice - I'm going to put a deadline on car choice at Wednesday 11th, 11pm UK time. You've had long enough so this shouldn't be much of an issue. Reserves and people who miss Round 1 are not affected by the deadline. Once on track, that is it.

Don't think there's anything else to cover... I'll put up the current Drivers' Standings, and see you all at Laguna!

Who's going to be there?

Good to see a couple old faces and a couple new ones. I'll get julle on the case and restart the eBay team but I'll let you know.

Any times to report as of yet? Feeling a lil rusty.

The really fast guys are around the 1:33s, some perhaps into the 1:32s, average pace will be around the 1:34s
