as for today since there is no round, will anything else take place instead? practice room, or fun races at random tracks from the btcc calendar, or a pre-race for next thursday at silverstone? is anything planed? :odd:

I'm surprised Hurley's gone, he's a top man and a top driver! Incredible pole at Brands Hatch! Definitely going to miss him

Thanks for all the kind words everybody. It turns out I have a 3 hour chemistry lab starting when I get back to university which falls on thursdays during race time. Because of this I decided to get a ps4 and am leaving the ps3 at home. (Its starting to fail kinda like my last one did). Anyways it has been good racing over the seasons. Hopefully I will see you on the track if anyone decides to move to ps4 for GT7 (if it isn't delayed for the rest of the decade:P). I will probably be lurking on the thread at some point. Good luck to everyone for the rest of the season and have fun!

Edit: good thing i switched as my ps3's hard drive gave out last night. ( i can hear it hit the sides if i turn it on). Stupid thing wont even boot the xmb or restore because there is no hard drive to restore as it is spinning away in the case. R.I.P. PS3. 5 years of good service.

You too mate, good luck with your chemistry :P

That should make it even easier for you to win then. ;)

I have won a lot of races this season but I would never say it has been easy .

Struggling for consistent laps at Silverstone but I am hoping for a front row start race 1 .

This is a circuit where when you feel like you have lost a tenth or two in a corner you have actually lost .500

I have tried a lot to be more consistent here especially s1 where all the time is for me but its extremely challenging .

The good thing is the race pace shouldnt be low 10s , it should be low 11's

Well either way I'm screwed. :(

My natural reaction is to keep the car between the lines, I'm really struggling to allow myself to run wide on the exits and I'm pretty much stuck in the 11's myself.

This for me is the worst race in the calendar by a country mile. I hate it with a 🤬 passion. I'd rather go to work than race here.

I could only achieve an 11.1 personal best in a practice session yesterday. My car feels like it handles the bumps better with the softer setup I put on it.

Had a few laps yesterday and when I was hitting consistent mid/high 10's with canyon ad skeng I struggled yesterday to hit under 11.2, but it was just a rusty driver. 10.6 in the end, but still 0.2 of my pb. But consistency is the problem. Well, only first corner, but might not be too bad in the race.

Well I've not had any time to practice so tonight will be a difficult race for me... Just as it gets to the 3 rd race ill be fine I hope

I feel different, I may not have immense qualy power like you, Ian, canyon and Skeng but I feel I have the race pace

I managed a 11.2 earlier but 0.5 off my pb (I could never get pb again!)

i allow the car to run wide onto Hangar straight but everywhere else is outer wheels on white line unless i make a mistake

I'll be fine in the race but lap times will be slower as I can't do that first corner consistently quick.

Hangar straight is weird. If you get the line right you can carry a lot of speed, but if you get it just a little bit wrong you'll lose more time compared to if we weren't allowed to cut

Ikr, first corner I can do 105mph, no problem, every time round. Now coming onto Hangar straight I can hit 72mph hitting the kerb on the inside and touching the outside, however if I get it wrong slightly its 65-67mph and nearly cutting the outside. Stowe is a tricky corner too
