Later i will make a public room if necessary .

Joining now, oven is on tho so will be eating tea at some point soon!

Boost settings have been changed to 'Low'. This is because if you're in a battle and someone breaks clear, then with no boost you'll never catch them back up.

Is that still up for debate? I find unnecessary aids a major turn-off. I'm not the fastest of the bunch, but winning due to driving aids is something I don't really want. If a guy manages to separate himself from the pack he should deserve the win.

+1

On Thursday we can do one race without Boost and one race with Boost on Low, and then have a vote on it afterwards if there's still debate.

Fair solution? 👍

I understand where Rolo is coming from. From testing the minute you lose out to leader its difficult to caught up. But I understand that people dont want to race with other cars getting advantages from artificial assists.

I just have the feeling that if Boost stays off then the winner of the race will probably be decided within 3 laps, considering how grippy the tyres are and of course how the cars are similar in performance. That winner would most likely come from the top 5 or 6 on the grid every time.

Thursday is a test night so I guess we could just trial a few different ways.

I completely agree that the most deserving guy should win, but that has to be teamed with being able to have races with battles from start to end - races that are never predictable.

I should point out though that at best we've only had 5 cars in a practice race up to now, so not sure how the field spread would look when you add 8-10 more cars into it.

Boost on low hardly made a difference i must say , we were only testing with 4 most of the time .

Thursday should be a better test session with more drivers .

High Speed Ring was lots of fun ,finally got in 6th gear.

Agreed, it is a tough one, but as others have mentioned if more people turn up we should be able to get a better understanding on which way to go.

Personally I didn't think low boost did have much effect, on the other hand down grading the tires might be a better way to go?

Either way it should be an exciting series with close racing throughout.

That might work, I reckon maybe we should try Comfort:Soft? Anything harder with the Sports tyres would never wear out fast enough.

I hope so 👍

That's what's testing a for!

Maybe SM with the highest ware rate?

Hopefully we can get at least 10 people on Thursday as more numbers in testing should mean for a better series.

No yteams drains a lot of intyerest from me.. I'm too slow for hoping to win so team battles and helping out in championship would have been cool. So where we run tomorrow test race?

Since the serie is about racing close and eliminating advantages is it possible to force manual gearing? With a car with such long gears the adavantage over auto can be really consistent...

Forcing someone to use MT should be a no go, if you can't use MT you can't use MT and it will be a bigger disadvantage than using AT.

If you really wanted to equal transmission up then you'd all have to all go AT but that takes away part of the challenge and turn people off imo.

People miss gears when running MT so it does have negative points.

I understand the point of use boost but isnt reverse grid enough to encourage more race winners?

Actually if its difficult to pass, the reverse grid would work as it would be harder for the winner to come back through the field. Maybe no boost?

I'm starting to think that Boost being Off would be better - this season is just a test really, so let's start with the basics and think of making changes later.

Tyres and wear also unchanged.

I should be there but i will either be late or have to leave early .

My car is 208 hp now , I think thats the maximum.
