congrats johnny, nice races joe.

a pretty disappointing season, no podiums, my best was a 5th and we didn't manage to snatch the second constructors place :(

been a solid midfielder and the few races that looke good all went wrong...

being thrashed out 3-4 races in an irrimediable way but had fun too. M3 was a nice team-mate and cool driver, too bad he missed those races... but at least he brought volvo some podiums.

Hope i managed to be fair to all drivers and i gave back positions whenever i damaged someone as in the rules. Also tried to avoid crashes at all costs maybe surrendering positions too easily.

@morten
i was behind you when you made the killer move on furinkazan and it was the "WTF" moment of the season. i suggest geeky to check it from my view to get to understand it.

grats on 3rd place tough.

shall we hand over the other season prizes?

Like

The Felipe Massa prize
awarded to the most beaten up team-mate

Ayrton's lap
awarded to the one with the most fastest laps/poles

De Cesaris award
for causing the most crashes/crashing the most

and so on... :D

De Cesaris award
for causing the most crashes/crashing the most

I bet that one goes to me :D

Adding to that discussion about my move, first of all I was still far enough ahead of him when I initiated my manouvre for it to be concidered my lane (if you understand what I mean), secondly, I changed direction once only. He could've let go of the gas for a second to pass left 'round me. Always look at both driver's point of view :)

And always except when your wrong and learn, denial is worse than the offence half of the time.:indiff: What race/lap was it out of interest? Would like to take a look from both drivers point of view as you say.💡

Oh and congrats to my 3rd/4th teammate Gedi69 on his first BTCC victory seems to have been overlooked amongst all the chaos lastnight well done chap!!

Race 1, first time on the straight.

I have admitted that I might have blocked too hard (subject to final decision by Geeky) (and I did excuse but Furi hasn't bothered, childish..), but on the other hand, as I say, I'm defending my position the best I can. If that's no longer allowed, why don't we pull over to the side when we see somebody in our mirror (sarcasm)?

Im watching the first race back now Rally indeed dishes it out but to even it up hes getting a fair bit back. Looking at the race its clear what needs sorting its the horrible divebomb moves up the unside!!:yuck: If some cut those out and were more patient the problems would go away to some extent.💡
Furi your move into turn 1 lap 3 was erm brave to say the least how you ever thought you could pull that one off and survive is anybodys guess!!:scared:

Although it was frustrating at times, I enjoyed this season. Highlights were leading at Suzuka and the battles for 3rd at Monza. Worst bits were probably race 2 (?) at Nurb and race 2 last night. So, I had flashes of glory but I often pushed too hard.

Congrats to JB for coming out on top (in the end ), and cheers to Geeky for organising everything 👍

Now that looks like the most positive I've heard for a loooong time here..

Just want to point out that I might be the only one defending my position but it's not illegal. I think we agreed to a rule that sais that if you push other cars off in the process then it is, but as I said I have the right to be defensive and not everything is my fault.

Defend your line by all means that usually means one change of direction not 2 or 3 trying to second guess that is practically impossible for the guys behind you.:) All this stuff posted isnt moaning or bitching its positive advice in an attempt to tidy things up think everyone agrees thats what we are after in the end.👍

And thx Rob phew:scared:.

I did only change direction once.

Ive watched the replay and noted things from other races its not all the time so obviously it would be once on occasions take it for what it is and move on.

That's what I've been trying to but you guys (not you, Geeky or Rob) keep pulling me back in. It really pi**es me off tbh. I'm actually considering that fictive suicide

Let's lighten the mood and say goodbye to S1 with some pictures... :)

Awesome Pictures, I will post my ones soon.
But I will do the videos as well.

I am also going to do a farewell Season 1 Tribute ;)

I think we agreed to a rule that sais that if you push other cars off in the process then it is, but as I said I have the right to be defensive and not everything is my fault.

if you push or damage someone you have to let him pass afterwards.

i always complied to this rule for the whole season for it was i the long rule list in the first post.

ask joe at monza, geeky yesterday and on another time, you too morten.

when did things change? :grumpy:

i've been an idiot all the season?:nervous:

I do not wish to claim 3rd in the drivers championship

Edit: I DO!!

I've taken a look at the replay.

Ralleymorten was one of a few that was dirty. If anything rallymorten can be considered clean when compared with others. Take a look at the replay before commenting whether it be constructive or not. I can understand that you guys arent moaning but just giving good advice to morten. But hes just thinking why just me? And I can understand that because he gave as much as he got.

Feud between morten and furi

Lap 1. Morten blocks furi in the tunnel, multiple direction changes. In the following corner furi punts morten off almost sending him into the gravel.

Lap 1. Pit straight. Furi goes for pass to the right off morten, morten turns to the right and both trading paint. Furi gets pass eventually only to outbrake in turn 1.

Lap 2. Morten is ahead in downhill hairpin and receives a tap from furi, this sends him into a spin.

Watch the rellay yourselves. Who came off second best between morten and furi?

The way furi reacted during the race, pausing to comment and then resuming. If you never paused mate you could have caught the pack. You were one second behing gedi when you two rejoined track and gedi end up finishing second. Also the rants in the lounge are not permitted under OLR rules. Im assuming we are following all OLR rules and not just the rule that many have quoted?

I got sent into gravel in lap 1. I got on with it and caught the pack. Its only season 1. For season 2 we need to eliminate the divebombs down the inside.

Lets end the topic here. And bring on season 2.
