Instead of frittering away their precious resources on nonsense things like Improving physics, adding cars and tracks, and creating a livery editor, Lets get them to spend time modeling bird poo and bugs on your window. Brilliant.

On another note, I do believe the Race series has this.

Several racing games have this. I am not a fan. Just makes it hard to see. Unless the pit crew cleaned the windshield during stops, your wipers would just smear the mess. (if they did it realistically.). In other games you have no way to clean your windsheild, it just stays dirty.

This is a silly idea. Personally I'd rather have more cars and things > bugs on a windshield.
The two things are not mutually exclusive.

That being said, I'd rather they actually model the windshields first before they worry about modelling crap accumulating on them.

They actually did that on the Grand Canyon track in GT4. A guy would be on the track taking pictures, and then run when you got close.

I remember that! I always tried hitting him but the ***** would run away before I got to him!

And unlike GT5, they weren't made out of flat cardboard. They were proper 3D models running on and off the track.

I'm not into that idea. I prefer cars collecting dirt and grass on the bodywork of the car over a long period of racing, or when you accidently slide off into the grass or something, dirt and grass would show up on your bumper.

No. This is a gimmick.

If you're going to model accumulation of crud, start with, as someone else said, grass and dirt on the bodywork. Then the car wash will actually have a purpose.

I already thought about the bugs on the winshield while driving at night on the 24h le mans. Simple things that make the game more realist. That and let us turn on/off the lights when we want to.

But look at the trolls:
-The same guys who play car-soccer and cops online.
-The same guys who have fun making the car jump high and fly.
-The same guys who cry about having the stig-helmet.
-The same guys who want realistic damage, but when implemented and they wreck the car in every corner, they will complain about how difficult it is to play and go to other arcade-like games...
