This is awesome news...now a cool car to add would be a Mclaren F1 and all versions of it.

I used to live near where they made the Mclaren F1,we used to see the test models out every other day. ;) :) Usually black and a great sight too.

They need to bring out another car...it's been too long. I consider the SLR more of an overpriced SL than a true McLaren.

It occurs to me that the GT PSP model doesn't have the spoiler option.

I know it wasn't a standard part of the car and had to be added as an option at the dealer, but I really believe that I have seen more with a spoiler than without, so I hope the game has an option to add it (even if it does completely remove any rear view), and not in the form of the generic spoilers from GT4.
Not to nit pick your post, but the car featured is the LP400 model. Only the LP400S & on came with optional spoilers. :)

I believe you are correct, which makes me look like a :dunce: for not thinking about it enough.

But I will be double checking my Lamborghini book when I get home.

All that said, then I hope we get the LP400S also.

I grew up with a picture of that Countach in white on my bedroom wall ... can't wait to take that and a couple of the mental Diablo's for a spin! :D

Yeah me too. I remember that i had a black LP400S as a 1:18 diecast model and saw the exact same car in the exact same color in real life, in front of a Lambo dealer where i live. The owner and the guys there werent nice though, they didnt let me look inside and i was a little child in a wheelchair. 8/

Was cool though, the Diablos there looked like plastic toys compared to it.

I am excited about LAMBO ..
but is it me that at the same time LAMBO in GT wont be my choice of driving.. Seems many times LAMBO comes out with super car, Ferrari, Zonda, Gumpert etc. etc beat it, or am I wrong.. I know the MODERN Lambos are way better of super cars then the previous ones..
I would prefer to drive this ugly one, but at least I would win ; ) I hope it makes it in GT game

Well the more cars the better :D, but see if a lambo would stand a chance against a 1000bhp supra :sly:, the bugatti might take it tho :nervous::lol:

Hi i'm new on here but I love the GT Series though I don't own all versions unfortunatly. Great to see the Bugatti in these games. I'm sure the Koenningseigg CCX will be be on them considering that it has been featured on NFS. Hopefully the Lambo Reventon is included as well. Sure some classic Bugatti's will be in this one. Wasn't there one on GT4 (I don't own it but I think it was on the back of the cover)

I think it's more commendable if a car can achieve the Veyron's speed by not going the power route, but with aerodynamics, light weight materials and such.

But who wouldn't want to drive a 1000hp car?

Hmm 1000BHP supra? if Supra is tunned, why can't Lambo be tunned to 1000 BHP as well? So Supra can fail as well.. ; )

^How are you going to get an extra 1000hp? Bigger turbos? nitrous?

This got me interested.
I too am curious how we may be able to out engineer the creators of the Veyron. It isn't as if they just cobbled together some standard parts in excess. There is a lot of engineering that went into getting the car to where it is now.

It's easy to get more power from the Veyron engine, that's not out engineering the engineers that made it though. The Veyron as a production car had to be that powerful and at the same time reliable enough to be sold with the same standard VAG 3 year warranty. Getting 1000bhp+ out of an engine isn't that difficult from an engineering standpoint. Getting that much power and making the engine reliable on the other hand, that's an achievement.

That said, who's to say we will be able to get 2000bhp from the Veyron in GT5. I doubt we will. I'd guess we'll see it reach about 1400-1500bhp maximum but there's no telling. Besides, extra power isn't what the Veyron needs.

Boost pressure would be my theory.

If GT5 allowed you to say, run different fuels, 2000hp would be achievable with the likes of toluene, as ridiculous amounts of boost can be run without the risk of auto ignition.

That's probably the easiest way. Of course there are lots of way it could be achieved in real life and the Veyron is probably quite capable of harnessing such power, that's not to say those methods are available in GT5 though. I would expect little more than 1400bhp to be achievable.

You can supercharge it and turbocharge it.. Why not have 4 of each?

I think this one has ONE turbo..

What is it running on, Rocket fuel?

I doubt you could fit 4 of each (short of them being very small and useless on a car that powerfull) inside the engine bay. If they could fit then it is possbile, but I'd imagine on a serious setup that the boost would threaten to blow the engine up at regular intervals. You don't need that much power anyway and short of drag racing being a big feature I don't see why PD would have mods that take the power that high.
