I mentioned it earlier, but it seems to be a publicity stunt by Rocket News 24.Not sure I understand the logic, outside of simply wanting attention. The easier plan is to just by packages of actual bacon, likely for much less. Buy the Whopper on the side.
No, the heart you are referring to is 心臓(shinzou). 心 is heart, as in my heart belongs to you.They could have added 750 strips and he may not have known.

I couldn't believe the story and help myself laughing out loud when I heard the story that a Japanese guy went to a Burger King to order a ridiculous number of strips of bacon for his daytime meal... 
Because Japanese people don't eat so much in the diets in light of what they normally eat and their bodily build(usually smaller than those in the Western), and most of us don't like to have too much greasy things since the flavour of the foods tend to be softer than those in other countries in most occasions...
As a Japanese person I'd like to give applause to his bold courage to try to have a massive volume of junk-food bacons and the staffs in the shop for taking up his offer to try to compare himself with a number of gluttons abroad.
