is it bad to have a 534 hp rx7? with about 36k miles on it or dies miles not even matter
The RX7 is a RWD car (rear wheel drive) so it can cope with the maximum amount of power that you can get in it, same with 4WD, my drag RX7 is fully tuned and its running 641 bhp and it copes brilliantly when it comes to traction.
As for the mileage problem, yes, your car will gradually lose power, but by changing the oil regurlarly (every 5-10 races, depending on lap numbers) you can get this power back for only 5 credits at a time, bargain! But for more serious cases of power loss, invest in an engine rebuild (port polish and those parts) and they will bring back the lost power.
And for the guy with the civic, i used R5's on my EG civic and traction was STILL a problem, take it down to about 260bhp at the very most, plus, using nitrous isnt always great for FWD, sure, it increases your times but not in a 336bhp civic!
Good luck and keep racing.
