Id find it hard to "buy american" if I buy a ford or GM product, its usually designed in europe or has been radically changed to suit the european market so I wouldnt call it buying american.

Ive seen 1 mustang and 1 camaro and a corvette in about 2 years.

Although the vette was a nice 67 one.

*wishes he saw more old muscle cars*

I have to admit that I love the old muscle cars, especially Chryslers like the Super Bee, Charger, Dart, etc. And then there's the original Chrysler 300's. That was the beginning of the end great American cars though.

My interest in or attraction to European and Japanese sports cars is an addition to the cars I already liked. How could I ever abandon the muscle cars?

Race Idiot, I see several Mustangs every single day. They look okay. Some sound simply awesome. They make me want to get in and go fast. But like I said, I'd rather have an R34 or something.

I was just saying that even spotting an american built car is quite difficult over here in the uk. The ford explorer was I think the only american built model ford that was released over here. Although I dont think they still sell them anymore.

In contrast I see allot of Nice Japanese sports cars. Ive seen a TRD200gt tune MR2, Imprezas 22b and P1`s loads of Lancer EV0`s, Integras, skylines, Mitsu GT0s and you wouldnt belive how many supras I see parked around where I live.

There is even a first gen celica, with those horrible looking wheels parked a few streets away from me.

American Cars to me are boring and obscene. Look at Ford, the quality on them is horrible and they always have quirks with them.

I am sick of chrysler, and GM could do a lot better.

If i had to pick between the Lincoln LS, BMW M3, Saab 9-3, Or Lexus IS300 I would pick any of the latter except the Lincoln.

Yeah I know what you mean. I have that feeling with Japan cars. They seem very cheaply made to me. At least the ones I have owned.

Worst comparison ever.

Lincoln LS - long; rear-drive; debuted 1998; four doors; V-6 or V-8
BMW M3 - short, rear-drive; debuted ~2000; two doors; I-6
Saab 9-3 - short; front-drive; debuted ~1998; five doors; I-5
Lexus IS300 - short; rear-drive; debuted here in 2000; four doors; I-6
