It's common to have multiple cars of some models, because of irreversible transformations.
Weight Reduction is one example but also Wide Bodies and, crucially, Engine Swaps.

you do realize that you can just buy all the different colors in the autoshop right?

Oh, I know. Its a disease. At first I was ok with just every car in GTS (because of paint chips). Then I had close to 100 million credits and I was like, may as well get every color combo for the Bugatti and all the race liveries and VGT color combos. Then I was like, huh.... why not every car in every color. No one does that! 5 gazillion laps of Monza in every GR1 car later, I have every car in every color and livery in GTS EXCEPT the r18 Dirty LeMans livery (which I had and accidently deleted) and bianco alfa for the mileage exchange alfa romeo gr3 road car. I check for the alfa every tuesday, run my 26 miles, and hope for a miracle on the Audi R18. If anyone from PD reads this, please...for THE LOVE OF HUMANITY, put the white alfa in the mileage exchange and write some quick code that everyone gets a dirty lemans r18 on the same day. LOL.

Anwyay, the obsession carried over to GT7.
