Buying a 2011 MBP 13", (bought, although not impressed with customer service @ apple)

What's going on with your Airport, specifically?

Well when using it it periodically will not load any web pages, even though air port says I am connected to the internet and other devices are loading the same web pages fine in a test after my mac would not open them. To solve this I have to reboot the Airport extreme and then it will connect again for a period of time (varying in length) before failing again. That is the only solution I have found so far, hence the trip to the genius bar is booked.

What would you suggest?

I would bring both the MacBook and Airport to the Genius Bar. I've had to troubleshoot similar issues for people and sometimes it was software, sometimes it was the wireless hardware in the computer, and sometimes it was the router.

What I'd be curious about is what happens when you renew the DHCP lease on other devices before restarting the Airport Extreme. Do they continue to work, or are they then unable to connect too?

Ah right I mean the airport extreme that is built into the MBP I hope it gets sorted without too much of a problem. The router I'm using is fine as I've tried it with other routers and I have the same problem.

Im not sure what you mean by DHCP but other devices but whenever I refresh or re open browsers on other devices they all work fine with the router. I will have to check this out though next time.

Do you work at Apple then or in a tech repair shop?

My problem is a little different to that, my wireless just randomly disconnects and won't reconnect (times out) until I put it into sleep mode and then wake it back up again. After doing that, it reconnects automatically.

It's not my router as I'm running a few other items from it and they're all running perfectly. It's not a big issue though, it only happens once in a while.

Ah right okays. Mine is just mid use, I shall have to try the sleep and wake procedure too.

That's the same as me, its really odd. Mines quite annoying really and with it being so new still too its disappointing that it occurs. It will happen a few times an hour then be fine for a while then happen again a few times in quick succession and so on
