I recently purchased a Fanatec GT3 V2 wheel with the Clubsport pedals and Rennsport stand. Every so far works nicely, except I am having one issue with the wheel that is causing me some concern.
After playing for a while (say 30 minutes or so) I get this strange chirping/buzzing noise coming from the wheel housing. The noise tends to be most heard when you press down the accelerator pedal, but after a while it is chirping no matter what. It doesn't sound very natural, and I'm concerned that either it is a damaged wheel, or that this part will get damaged in the long-term because of it.
To me it sounds like a wire or something hitting another moving part (perhaps the fan?) When I tip up the housing up a bit so it's a bit of a different angle, this noise goes away sometimes.....so it can't just be a normal fan noise.
Anyone else have this? This can't be normal, no?
