Play FFA when you're trying for the golden shield. I managed to get Kryptek: Typhon within 5 or so games. I used Fast Hands, a Five-seveN and some concussions. That way I could concuss someone, shoot 'em once with the pistol and finish him off with the shield

Oh, the camos aren't that hard to get. Especially the special ones. 25 kills with the axe, 25 kills of the person shooting at your shield, 25 kills without any weapons or perks equipped and 1000 points damage score to your shield. Easy peasy.

Does anyone else here encounter serious lag compensation issues when you play with a party in the online lobbies?
It is just getting silly, I don't even want to invite anyone to play with me, because when I do I get a lag comp of at least half a second.
I blew up a car yesterday with 3 guys around it. Not a single kill. Not even a hitmarker. I memorize the time of blow up, and check the video afterwards. All 3 of them were nowhere near the car when I blew it.
So wth?

Yeah I think it's pretty much a given that Black Ops 1 & 2 have the worst lag compensation I have ever seen. That's why I'm always getting killed about a second after I have gone round a corner. It's getting ridiculous, it's infuriating.

I don't know why but a couple of things have only been happening to me since the Patch. I was playing at Nuketown and I was in the middle of the house and I got hit by a Lightning Strike (It went through the house). Also, every time I get into a lobby and I have a 3-bar connection, it runs smoother than me being on a 4-bar connection. It seems as it does not happen to other people but those two things have been bothering me and the patch was out for a day.

It's my mission to get all the secondaries diamond before the primaries. I've got two launchers left (SMAW and RPG) and three handguns (KAP-40, B23R and Tac-45).
Problem is, I can't really show if off. If they see me running around with a diamond shield and pistol, they'll just think I glitched to my level and got diamond everything along the way

This has been happening to me a lot and most of the time it only happens on Raid.

For the Smaw I only need a Dragon fire kill. But I gave up on it, no one in hardcore uses them. I am now almost done with the type 25. For the wildcards I need less than 250 for Overkill and then I have them all, perks I only need to finish Hard wired, but I'll have to play regular tdm for that...

That's the unfortunate thing about CALL OF DUTY. Everyone assumes that because you've got more skill than them, you clearly cheated. Players taking it so damn seriously is one of the major tings that turned me off to the franchise.Problem is, I can't really show if off. Seeing the amount of nuclear killer cards (30 kills), and that fellow here on gtp who sold or tried to sell the prestige master crap, you can be positive that there is some serious cheating going on. At least they can't hack it for auto aim or something like that..

Oh, undoubtedly. But reading Daniel's comments, he's evidently trying to achieve these things legitimately, only or the user base to assume he is cheating simply because he has progressed so far. It's disappointing that people assume someone is cheating because that someone is more skilled than them.

One of the easiest ways to see if someone's legit or not is to look at their time played. If they're prestige master with only a day or so played then somethings up.

Obviously, but that won't work with most Prestige glitchers if they went to Master as the stats from another Prestige Master (hacked or not) is somehow copied onto their own account.

I've never understood hacking to get higher levels. Doesn't it just defeat the object? I don't know about anyone else, but I enjoy trying to get stuff, like gold and diamond camos. If I hacked it to get to prestige master and get all the stuff, I would soon get bored with it.

I think you answered your own question:
People want the stuff straight away. Even if it's just a new skin for a weapon, it implies that they are skilled enough to have earned it. This all boils down to what I was saying earlier about people taking a very bizarre pride in their ranking as a player.

With the amount of time I play, I never reach maximum prestige, never did it on any of the previous cods. So when I finally run around with a diamond or golden gun at least it still looks legit. 
Whenever I see a cheater I turn on my mic and start talking against them. Almost always it's a young kid, and they get really scared when you tell them that you will report them for hacking.
Messages start pouring in that they are legit, and if I please please please do not want to report them.
And then you kill them 15 times in a single game.
