Calling on Maya (5) users

I'm in desperate need of mayares.dll that appears to be corrupt after i installed a copy of Maya (Unlimited) 5. If anyone can post it or a link to it if they can't post it i'd be VERY grateful.

Cant you just copy it from the cd? or is the file in one of those stupid .cabs that cant be opend with conventional (sp?) file archivers?

Um, it's against the site policy for me to disclose the original whereabouts of the copy of Maya i have. Lets just say i have no way of getting the file i need, other than off the internet

It's 3D software that's been used in a few movies recently apparently. I believe that Ice Age was completely created in Maya and that blue chick from X Men was too (only what i've heard, i haven't really looked into it). I don't have any decent 3D stuff so i thought i'd look into it (30 day trial only of course)

WinRAR can open them. I'm fairly sure WinZip can do it too.

nah, this is what i get when trying to open the data1.cab file with winrar, i think it has to do with something about M$'s data .cab 1998 agreement or somthing
