Can anybody suggest a good way to get iTunes music to play in GT5?

Just because someone uses iTunes doesn't mean they use the iTunes Store. It's just a nice music player, the OP's (and my personal) top choice.

And the whole piracy discussion is so off topic!

Sorry but there the options we can offer I never said I prefer them over burning and rip a cd with iTunes. Btw ITunes is great but WMP gets the job done. Definitely when you want to share music on a network.

Google, PS3 Media Server, should be a free download. Use this if you have a wireless router which your ps3 and computer are connected to.

Nope, my PS3 is connected to a cable. Plus, it's in a cozy basement where no wireless signals can penetrate. I know cuz I tried locating a signal awhile back (I know there's at least one in my neighborhood). Not happening

Not directly related, but if you're going to buy songs off of iTunes I think they offer a lot (maybe all) of their songs in unprotected mp3 format now. I haven't looked in a while though, so maybe it's different now.

Alternatively Amazone has mp3 (unprotected) downloads on a ton of music as well.

Nice! I'll try and remember this. I'm not using iTunes anymore.
You'll run into less problems this way, and more devices will be able to play your songs without problems. Alternatively, stick to CDs :)

Thanks. Most of my music over the years has been stored on cassettes. Amazingly, some of these cassettes are over 20 years old and they still play fine. I actually don't have that many CDs. And of the ones I do have, only a few really "work" for Gran Turismo. Soundgarden, Rage, and Hendrix top my list. :)
