I read somewhere that broadband is anything higher than 256k. I might be wrong though.Originally posted by GTJugend
Good for you. I dunno about the broadband though, isn't it defined as 2mbit or higher?

using DSL. . . That is normal to not be up to the 384kbps . . . DSL companies offer up to said upload speed, but never truly deliver the whole load unless the DSLAM is right outside your house. . . Most DSL companies will do nothing to increase that speed too. . . But if your using cable I just made myself a "no talent arse clown"Originally posted by LoudMusic
Yeah, I don't know what was up with that. Our upload is actually 384kbps. Which still isn't as fast as yours, but not bad either.

I'm actually using cable, you no talent arse clown (: Comcast business cable. We also have SWBell DSL, but it blows. It's 6mbit, which I have maxed out, but we get less than 800kbit on single connections. It took 50+ mp3 downloads (did I just say that!?) to get it to max out.

Your download speed : 234469 bps, or 234 kbps.
A 28.6 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 2915451 bps, or 2915 kbps.
I'm using the wireless lan at my school. My upstream at home is capped to 12k/sec and downstream to 110k/sec. I'm gonna have to yell at my ISP since the uploads are capped to half of what they said I should have.
