Hello,
I just purchased PS VR2 for playing GT7 and one thing that I would like to change is my view while driving. It feels like I set my car seat up to the front so the steering wheel and front window is too close. Is it possible to change it? Thanks.

If you want to move your "head" back, lean forward and hold down options. Leaning forward when you get into the car will also work. The view will reset so that when you lean back in your seat to your normal position, the view will move back with you. You might need to experiment a bit to get it in exactly the right position for you.

Note you have to do this every time you get into that car. It will not save your position.

Thanks a lot. Leaning forward before I press Start/Retry button somehow works (but if I lean too much, PSVR2 turns off the picture and I stuck in the dark with polygons).

And I cannot get rid of the feeling I entered a small world. Driving a small car with small steering wheel on a small road. Everything seems much smaller than if I drive with normal view. Any way to enlarge the world?

The functionality you're asking for is in the game... However, PD in their infinite wisdom do not allow you to use it. Hence having to resort to the tactics described in the posts above.

The VR field of view is narrower than our natural vision, so it seems to me in order to get the field we are used to I tend to force out POV further away from the steering wheel. The drawback of this is things look smaller. If you do the opposite things look big/normal but you will feel restricted in view and immersion.
The other aspect id the way the graphics are drawn by the engine is not quite right for the brain perspective its something that is known about in general and can be changed technically but I'm not sure when it coud be offered as an option. I doubt for GT7.

It might have something to do with the way PD modelled where the driver sits because some cars are way too close and others are way too far.

Like the XJ220 is awful in VR. The R8 (or Nismo GT-3, some GT3 car I don't really remember) you sit too close to where you can look side to side and see yourself ahead of the head side cushions on the seat :indiff:
