Can I use controler for Jeff Gordon NASCAR School ?

I just did the NASCAR intermediate challenges last night after starting them the night before. The Daytona intermediates were easy, but I had some trouble on the Indy inside line one. Took about an hour to finally get it. I went back to the outside line Indy one that I had a bronze on already and beat it on the first try. I used the same method that someone else said above about holding the joystick all the way down and using the outside edge of the circle to make small turning adjustments. I race with all aids off and ABS at 1.

I golded all of them with a dualshock 3 easily. The main thing that helped me was all aids off and I even turned the abs off. For some reason it has stability control with the abs on which slows the car down on the corners with this off it makes a massive difference.

I did them in all silver. I might be able to get gold on them if I sat down and tried for hours but I'm not that interested. What I found helpful was pushing the stick all the way forward and steering by rolling the stick around the perimeter of it's bounds. This is a lousy way to do a road course but works well with long sloping high speed corners that require a lot of subtle steering corrections.

Never thought of this. I'll be using your technique as I've yet to complete the NASCAR school. Basically because it's a load of rubbish.

Golded it with DS3
First thing to do: All aids off, espacially ABS because you don´t need to Brake so much that ABS would come to work. And Manual Shifting.

And for outside/inside line in Daytona:
Keep in 3rd geer until middle of the corner then upshift in 4th. And learn how much to steer.
I had 4-5 tries and golded it (the hardest Level was the easiest for me).

Indy:
Just keep on trying, maybe keep in 3rd all the time and then you would just have to lift the throttle ?? (somthing like that)
^for both out- and inline

Just keep on trying ;)

Its worth it because you get a NASCAR-ticket if every challenge is Golded.
But then you have the bigger problem:
NASCAR-Series last race 10 laps Daytona. This is the toughest Race I have had in GT5 !!
