Either does Mazda...they almost had one in the early '90s, Amati, supposedly going to have V12s and big cars, but I think Ford stopped that...

Yeah, there would be no reason for Ford to create a luxury division for Mazda... they'd be shooting themselves in the foot.

BTW, I wouldn't go so far as to say they'll be bigger than Honda... it's a possibility, but by no means a truth. Honda has really got the formula down right now, and it'll be some time before it can truly fall (if that's the case).

However, Mazda is on the right track. Mitsu has some serious issues to work out right now (Subie is absolutely killing it)

The good thing that Honda has, is they are not being under with a company like all other cars and especially don't own anybody. Honda is the only automaker that is completely independent company (recently broke up with Isuzu).

Ford is holding Mazda back, limiting every thing that Mazda has in thier minds, manipulating them so Ford can get the quality that Mazda makes and a bad reputation for quality that Ford does.:grumpy:

Dude-Why is that funny? Cause it's false and I prooved it false with that article?

last weekend, Lou Fusz(network of dealerships here, my dad works for the Mazda/Subaru branch) had there Super 700 Sale, where they have 700 used cars for sale, free hot dogs and all...there was a Probe GT on my dad's lot(I don't know why it was there cause the sale was on the higher Nissan lot next door)and he said that he would turn in his RX-7 and the 323 for this Probe GT, it was a 94, Maroon, not too clean, and didn't run well(my dad can fix that...)and he asked me if I'd like a Probe and I just said "no".

I don't want a probe, that's ford, why would I stray from Mazda to take a Ford? and my dad has a GT also...we don't need a nother ford....he said that he'd probably keep our cars as they are now....if there was a MX-3 GS, then I'd say yes...cause that's what I want(well I want a 20B cosmo but that won't happen, an MX-3 is possible...)...and I also started thinking how neat it would be to have a 929 S, like the 92 model, comes Superchanged, RWD, but it's big...

Take Note:
929/Sentia was the ultamate luxury cruiser by Mazda until it was replaced by the humble Milenia/Xedos 9.
MX-3 is a good everyday cruiser, gotta miss it.

Twins:
Ford Probe (hatchback)=Mazda MX-6 (notchback)

Bannish Ford from Mazda!!:grumpy:

I really like to see the old Mazda Cosmo Sport (the first rotary Mazda) featured in the Road & Track Magazine two months ago in person or race it on GT4 along with the '89 MX-5 Miata.

yea...true VB....I like the newer 929...like the one with the raised grill...the older ones are cool too....they are fast and safe....plus the superchager is neat...

And VB...the MX-6/Probe thing has been coverd over and over again...

Gotta love the early '90s Mazdas:929, 626, MX-6, MX-3, RX-7, Protege, MPV....all exelent cars.

But don't forget to remember the first-rotary Mazda, the '69-'73??Cosmo Sport.

Boy! Mazkid, you're gonna love this! :)

man that is a ton of info there....that's awsome...

BTW, the wheels on the Cosmo 21(the new cosmo going to be based on the Miata)are ugly as hell....

Yea I saw that, but they are trying to commemorate the legendary Cosmo Sport as much as they can which the only way to replicate the car thru modern tecnology, is that base it thru the ultamate roadster Mazda created, the MX-5 Miata/Roadster.

I don't know if the Cosmo 21's engine specs, but oh well...;)
