Can somebody test my Z06 C6 Corvette tune? :)

Meant to be used at the Nurburgring at 550pp, racing softs.

1) Do all the weight reduction, no chassis reinforcement

2) But ballast at -50 position just nice to make the weight 50/50

3) LSD at 5/5/5

4) Transmission - Set your top speed, 1st and 2nd gear all the way to the left, 5th and 6th all the way to the right. 3rd and 4th in the middle.

5) Suspension:

Height: 0/0
Spring rate: 10.0/8.6
Dampers Extension: 3/3
Dampers Compression: 3/3
Sway bar: 3/1
Camber: 1.5/1.0
Toe: -0.10/0.00

Brakes: 7/8

Its pretty decent to me. Any feedback appreciated :)

I tested your tune.

I think dampers are too soft and camber doesn't maximise grip. It does have a nice driving feel but I think this car could get a better lap time with a different tune.

Thank you for testing, MrGrado. Did you drive it at the Nurb? It can get quite bumpy there and the soft dampers are to minimize chance of accident. I will test again with stiffer dampers.

Do you feel exit understeer by any chance?

I'm actually quite surprised that I could get a way with 5/5/5 LSD in a vette

I originally had the same theory regarding soft suspension at the Nordschliefe, but after further testing I discovered that firmer dampers helped stabilize the car over crests and bumps. I would suggest raising the ride height slightly and using medium-to-stiff springs to keep the car from bottoming out as much. Soft swaybars are okay, though.

@ NorCal: I will try that later today.

Can somebody try taking the 560pp powered version of this car around the Nur online? The best I have managed to get is 6:48 and I'm not the best of drivers. Thanks in advance!! :D

Yeah, I drove it at Nurburgring. The car went nicely into bends, in middle of the bends and exiting bends. There was no exit understeer, on some bends with tight exits I was surprised at not going out over the kerb with the speed I was carrying mid corner.

With dampers, I think 3 is just too soft. 4 works much nicer and I use 4/4/4/4 on many tunes, even on very light cars and very heavy cars. That is what I will start with when making a tune, then I try higher values and different combinations by trial and error.
