Just had a quick practice, I didn't want to be unprepared if I can make it tonight (sorry Brett still don't know 100% yet)
What times are people setting? I've stumbled upon an awesome setup and I'm curious to see how it stacks up.

1. You dont give a crap what the other guy thinks (normally)
2. You cant punch the person which takes away 90% of my arguing options

First lap I got spun by Buemi and then hit by Kartekhyian lost my wing. Pitted then on way out of pits Algersauri hit me into a wall and I got a puncture. Coming down long straight on lap 4 brakes locked up and hit the wall totaled car.
, well Karthikeyan should be DISQ as well as suspended from F1 considering he knocked Brett off the track and I was right behind them and when I lapped him he let me pass but there was a constant yellow flag on that really sharp turn in sector 2 that was on all race and my engineers said green flag, I lapped them and then it instantly switch to yellow and got a drive-through penalty.ETID - Bad luck as well as this race, I think the lobby was cursed hope we have better luck in China

Good race tonight, Karthekeyan took me clean out on the straight, he travelled 4 car widths to get me too....ON A STRAIGHT!!!! I could have got 2nd there

Good race, I'm happy to finish 10th and in the points, especially considering I haven't taken part in pre-season or Melbourne.
I don't really understand why we have AI on the grid though, they cause more harm than good, why are they included when they don't even count on the leaderboard? Just wondering...
And does anyone know the time difference between first pole and the re-run pole? I'm curious.

Join the club about the drive through penalty. Berty went a bit wide and off the track so I went by because the yellow flag rule did not apply to drivers already off the track, (Australia 2002) and was given a drive through for it!
Made a reasonable start stayed in the lead before overshooting the final corner allowing Artmann through, Saved fuel and tyres behind him for a lap before going for the lead which I did until (Awaiting PM version of events). This dropped me to 5th.
Made my pitstop on lap 8, then suffered a drive through after passing Berty under yellow while he was getting back on the track:censored:. Took that immediately dropping me to 7th, So I just went for it and started to close rapidly and make the primes last for 12 laps, they were virtually gone when I pitted on lap 20.
Flew in the final stint setting fastest lap after fastest lap, got held up by Kovalinen in the devil zone and then Jaime in turn 3, may of been a bit aggressive though with it ruining all chances of getting second...
Then overshot the devil hairpin on final lap.
Ended up 3rd - Could of been so much more

This is a game, and a buggy one at that.
It handles penalties worse than any other F1 game, including F1: CE & 2010. I think the last patch made it worse.

Pagey- I am beginning to understand peoples frustrations, I might try China with just humans (or humanoids in some cases ) just to see if its any better. China is a great track apart from the dumb first set of corners.
SKD- Gutted for you mate by that point it was too late for us to start again I dont know if its possible for you but I always re set my router before an online session. Maybe its just in my mind but I rarely get disconnected.
JB- The penalty sysem has problems but I get round most of it by being VERY careful, I still get caught out but I can live with it knowing that some other people are too. I cant face GT5 any more, roll on GT6!

It still dosen't look that good, but the frame rate seems to have improved (Unless if the video was taken from a PC with an £800 Graphics Card). To be honest i think that people complain about it but will still buy it because there is nothing else out there in terms of Racing Games. I have Dirt 3 and its way better than F12011 in every way (IMO), and its made by the same company (Scratched head)

Little announcement. I have been called away at the last minute by work to babysit some idiots who are in a tent with some very expensive electrical equipment so will update the OP when I get back from my shift tomorrow morning.

He crashed into my side pod on a staight and got his wheels locked in mine which meant we were both going along at about 40mph all the way down the straight and I couldn't get out of the 'lock' until he decided to turn for the corner at the end of the straight which sun me off the track. He obviously carried on without any hint of a spin. Grrrrrr!

My tactic of qualifying and starting on Primes backlfired at this race... Oh well, some practice is in order for next time I suppose.

Started 2nd after i lost pole by half a tenth, I set my lap way too early as i didn't want to have any traffic like i did on my 1st attempt before the bug. I went way too wide into turn one but i knew that i'd have the racing line into turn 2 just in case someone behind me tried to dive on the inside n push me wide. About lap 2 falcon went wide into the last corner and i took the lead, he was right behind me so i knew i'd be vulnerable the next lap when DRS came into effect the next lap. Just as i suspected lap 3, falcon all over me like a rash so i decided to cover the inside into turn 1 and made that decision early by moving once, the next thing i know he had spun or gone wide. Martin wouldn't have been impressed if i got passed on the inside. The next few laps i tried to make a gap but i ended up making so many mistakes that indy caught up with me. I did manage to get into rhythm and pull away at the stops and maintain the gap. Led for most of the stint until my 1st pit stop when i saw that my team mate on the rev limiter as i exited the pits and thought, he has to stop again so i won't fight for the lead now, a few laps later his tyres were gone and made an easy pass, i was on fresh rubber and had fastest lap after fastest lap. Stopped for my 2nd pit, tyres were worn towards the end so i didn't bother going for the fastest lap in case i put it in the wall or run out of fuel. Only got to used DRS once on a backmarker, and luckily i didn't have any problems with traffic of the AI (I learnt to overtake them by going off line instead of waiting for them to move over). I think berty had a little incident with Dambrosio or Glock when i overtook them both on the last corner on the back straight as the AI went straight in the path of berty and i went far on the inside and the AI didn't know what to do as it was sandwiched by the two McLarens under blue flags. Finished 1st qualified 2nd.
I think the yellow flags came out if you or someone in front of you puts two wheels off the track, the game thinks that you have a mistake and are going off and automatically waves yellow.
