I don't think I'm going to make the first race. The washing machine has started making a strange noise. I think it may be possessed! :nervous:

I'm going to have to take a look at it. I may have to perform an exorcism!

Sorry I could not race earlier, also don't think I can make the second race either, can i please just submit my practice lap i did on Tuesday?

No worries, Rob mate.
You won't get a monster key but I'll come up with something else to award you for that epic lap. 👍

Race 2 was even more exciting for me than the first. I don't think I've ever been so terrified in my life.

Race 1
I really wasn't supposed to make it to the circuit on time but thanks to @JockeP22 somewhat surreptitiously sneaking my name onto the grid I cut short a previous engagement & came in unprepared. Driver error (spinning out) led me to park up & let the traffic go past at the half way mark of lap 1. This allowed me to pursue my main goal of driving for the entire race without crashing into everybody, they were all specks in the foreground by then.

Race 2
Again it was a surprise to be racing. I turned up several hours late to an unrelated hootenany after quickly deciding to race before I partied the night at least partially away. I stopped of at Brands to have a word with Team Bridge's chief mechanic. I explained that in the first race I had felt uncomfortable being with such a scary, scary car & could he tame it for me. A resounding "no" came the reply along with the sagest of advice, "just drive better".
On receipt of a substantial bribe, our mechanic pretended to alter the LSD & rear toe while contemplating the ballast vs power debate. I was in a hurry & left him a thoroughly undeserved tip just to shut him up.
Onto the race.. Care free, I pushed a bit harder this time. It turned out that after getting used to the goulish Z8 a touch more I had worked out how to handle it slightly better. Then came the horror, I got further & further into the race without being in last place. I finally had something to lose & as such, became very conservative. One by one, a powerful stream of Z8's flew by me while I hung on for dear life.

I made it to the end twice, I feel accomplished to have done that without causing any wreckage.

I hope everybody enjoyed the races as much as I did. 👍

Great event Jocke, enjoyed so much.

Both races were scary, but great fun.

Night view is so different to drive.;) Magic clouds 👍

I was looking beautiful scenery, people and trailers near the track, fire, light effects (nice time selection Jocke) all the time, so i crashed few times.

Special event - special feelings

Thank you Jocke

So nice to hear what you think, Smiley. Thanks a lot and it was worth the effort when you seemed to enjoy yourself.
I did too. Incredible atmosphere, really.

But don't forget about @MannYhAvitZ
This event wouldn't have been the same without Manny.

Orange paint jobs will improve a car by over a minute.
That must be where I'm going wrong then. :)

Would have been highly interesting to see Dusty and Pitorsk in the same race o_O
You wouldn't have seen them for very long.

This event wouldn't have been the same without Manny.
I thought I saw Manny in the crowd. He was eating a burger.

Don't be silly, Rob. Of course the link can stay, the more people that are warned about Wurz the better.
I was referring to your ice bucket challenge though :-)
