Can't Finish Career - 5 Races Short

While I am on PS4 I think this will effect other platforms.

I have 5 races to go to finish off everything in career.

Three races called;

Audi Ruapana, LMP900 Ruapuna and TransAm Ruapuna do not even exist yet! (see below)

Sort of makes it a bit hard to finish career mode doesn't it? :-(

While I have everyone's attention I can't seem to find the Super Car Free For All 24Hr and the RUF CRT3 Velocity 1hr races. Does anyone know if these are linked to the above expansion pack or what contract offer you have to accept to get the invitation?

I think it is completely wrong of SMS to sell a game that cannot be completed without having to download (probably buy) extra content. The disc I bought should be able to be completed in it's own right.

It is bad enough that I have to wait to do 20 Community Time Trials to get my Platinum trophy where times were either not registered or valid times were deleted from the server :-(

I am putting up with all the bugs, crashes, online cheating and the horrendous AI but this is just really starting to push my buttons.

I buy a game on a disc I expect to be able to complete the game. This is just starting to sound like GT6 now. You buy only half a game :-( But at least with GT6 I could finish the game and get all my trophies for my efforts so PD got that part right.

Indeed. DLC should be an embellishment to the game, not an essential

If you haven't got the extra cars then you will never "finish" the game because the extra cars have their own invitational. I've just had great fun racing in the C1 Invitational with the Sauber.

I agree you shouldn't need to have to buy or download extra content in order to complete the game. There are probably many people without the chance of connecting their PS4 to the Internet. Still, I wouldn't get too fussed about it since you are connected to the Internet. It'll be introduced shortly, so it's just a delay to the end of your PCARS game, which, if I were you, I wouldn't want to finish so soon.

How long does the career mode actually last?

It has taken me about 220hours (on short) and that is about winning 600 races. My stats say I have entered 1760 races but I did repeat some, lost some and retired from others. (Plus it has also countered my online races as well)

The career is tooooooo long, toooooo hard to understand and very convoluted. Add to that the atrocious AI and it has not been all that enjoyable especially as I now am sooooo close and can't finish it :-(

And now it appear two invitationals are bugged and can't be done. They are the 2 and 4 team championships

I agree with the career comment but i thought they threw the extra races in to knock you out of the feel you were getting for the car and the actual championships feel far too short

I guess the only work around would be to have all the accolades or Trophies related to the Game as it comes in the box but to allow you if you want to choose cars from the DLC

Either way it doesnt bother me ,i only bought the game for the Nascars and the Ovals im just wondering if they can keep me entertained untill that DLC comes out

Formula A is over 19 races! I certainly got a feel for that car ;-) Whereas Formula Rookie was only 3 (from memory), so in that instance I certainly agree.

And I think most people hated the Go-karts and if not the actual vehicles the way there was no practice or qualifying. These events I believe were constructed just to annoy people ;-)
