Hopped into an RX-8 tonight, one I bought months ago and ran with a wing on it. I lowered the PP and tuned it up then went to GT Auto to remove the wing. Wing came off everything looked fine. Went back into the car info, setup 1 shows no rear downforce. Go to setup 2 and is shows rear downforce. Go back to GT Auto, wing is back, take it off, go back into tune 1 and wing is not there. Go to tune 2 and wing is there. Go back to tune one and the wing is there too. Go to tune 3, leave and go to GT Auto, remove wing again, back into tune, wing is back.

Now when you remove the wing, and go back into tune the car in the garage, the wing at first does not appear, it's gone as it should be. Switch to Setting 2, back out to the screen with the car again, and the wing is back. It's also back on settings 1 and 3.

I can't get rid of the wing on this car. Anyone else have this problem?

Sounds like a new bug to me with spec 2.0 setting sheets. - setting sheet overwriting the GT-Auto wing removal.

Good find - excellent detail, I'll try and replicate...

Well that's disappointing. I was hoping it was just that one car. I have a few cars I'd like to de-wing to run at lower pp...now I'll have to replace the cars instead or run them at 5 downforce.

Another thing I noticed and forgot to mention is that I removed a bunch of cars from my favourites list to make room, left the game on, went out to work for a few hours, then went back into the game and the cars were all back on the favourites list, every one of them. This happen to anyone else? Man if this is a permanent thing and I can't change up my favourites list that's really gonna blow!!

Are you totally sure you removed them, I've used the "select multiple" feature to remove favorites, but when doing it quickly it is easy to forget it defaults to highlighting NO in the Favorites option. So if you Triangle, then hit X to remove without looking, they stay there.

If you are sure you removed them, it might be worth trying to replicate it, as this would be a huge sucky bug.

I used the setting sheet one time and haven't used it since. It messed up my car bad. changed the color of rims and put different rims on my second sheet car and had to repaint them and then it got red paint on my pink car. Pissed me off, It was my F40 and now its like the guy said got to buy a new one or drive it like junk. THE MAN SHOULD HAVE FINISHED WRITING THE GAME BEFORE HE SOLD IT!!! I have really enjoyed this game but it is getting bad that every time he updates something, something else goes wrong.:grumpy::yuck:

I noticed the setup sheets change some of my settings as well. My elise with stage 3 engine upgrade on sheet 1 would drop to engine stage 2 on sheet 2. I had to go into the engine section and reinstall the stage 3, although I did not have to repurchase it; it was already there just not installed. Another car I simply changed to sheet 2 to see if it carried the base settings over from sheet 1, and when I went back to sheet 1 all of my settings had changed, but not to default. It seemed almost random settings were input. Good thing I still had a written sheet. This wasn't a problem 6 years ago; it shouldn't be happening now.

Changing your favorites list and then losing those changes could be down to not saving afterwards. I've lost a whole bunch of mods, tunes and other various changes due to going online afterwards (and not saving) then freezing and having to quit the game.

When you're about to go online always save your game first. Dont trust the auto save feature.

As for the wing you might try switching to each setup (A,B,C) and then go to GT auto to remove the wing from each setup individually, just a thought.

The settings sheet definately has alot of bugs. I noticed the rear camber values in setup B are .1 lower than setup A (1.4 in setup A shows up as 1.3 in setup B), even if they are the same, except for 0 which will stay at 0.

I did that, going to set up A,B,C individually then backing out to remove the wing and it came back each time. You could be onto something regarding the game save. I never manually do a save and maybe I'll start doing that after I make changes. I have been getting disconnected a lot lately and maybe not saving and disconnecting was the cause. Thanks.

I don't think that's what I did Freaky but you never know. I'll watch for it next time.
