Click the above link to take you to a website for Capital Autos. This was linked from Rockstar Games so it seems to be one of their sites set up for the game.

Look at the strange names of the cars. I assume that the Panto, Rocket and Luton weren't put into the final game for some reason.

I just thought it was an odd website because the names were so strange. And as someone said, it's really badly designed. But Rockstars websites are usually rubbish. Their home page is impossible to navigate. It's a mish mash of horrible flash sites thrown together with no sense. You have to click on things at random to find what you want.

I think the Capital Autos may have been thrown up before the game was released and the car names had been finalised.

Rockstar are horrible with web-making. Also, this was before GTA III came out, and I remember at the time the cars weren't named yet.

It's easy to tell what each car is, except for the Aster (which isn't a Manana because the Panto is a Manana). And yes, Rocket is definately a Cheetah.

The Ariant is the Manana.

The Aster is the Moonbeam.

The Dyablo looks like the Infernus but missing the rear spoiler.

The Panto isn't the Manan because it's a 4-door but the Manana is only a 2-door.

But by God it is a badly designed website. I think that someone at Rockstar Games gets their teenage kid to design their websites for pocket money.

I don't know if they design sites like that to put people off, making them think it might be a fake, or not. But they've never had a good looking or performing website.

Also, in that case, I don't know what the Panto is.

Yeah! Rockstar puts so much flash on their site, that it takes FOREVER for my stupid slow modem to load the pages!

If only Rockstar was as good at making websites as they are at making video games . . .

Yes. Their webmaster isn't the best. But I suppose it's really not about the websites, it's about the game. And also, the websites are for a small bit of information, so who cares. I want the damn game!
